Looked ahead at the TV lineup on NFLN last night and saw that our game in San Diego next Thursday will be televised on NFL Network at 9:20. Set your DVR if you can't watch live! I'm ready for some games...even if it is pre-season!

I'm ready for the game.

People give way to much credence to what happens in practice. A game, even if it's preseason, is a much better indicator of players abilities than practice reports from media people that don't know much about football.

You're probably already aware of this, but just in case you aren't...all preseason games get televised at some point during the week on NFLN whether shown live or not. So if you don't get it live, just look ahead on the schedule for it and it'll be there somewhere. It may be on at 2:00 am, but that's what DVR's are for!

Every year there will be players that don't match the reports that we get from the media at TC. I much prefer to see them for myself than to put stock in the the media reports. Even if the media person is really good, it's difficult to really evaluate players watch them live in practice. Film don't lie.

Yep, some are anointed and never show up while others are never mentioned that play big when the lights come on.

Just be aware that there is another game on NFLN prior to that game, so the first quarter or so won't be shown. At least not until it is broadcast later in the week.

Thanks for pointing that out. What little time the starters get will probably get missed on the live programming, but we kind of know what they can do anyways. Still, it would be nice to get the whole game.

BTW, forgot to point out in the original post that the time I listed is Central time...could make a difference for some people.

I don't expect to get a very good idea on anyone who catches passes with Weeden throwing it. Everyone else should be a better indication though.
