They posted this shortly after his interview. They have since deleted it.

Good thing he isn't used to getting calls his way, I have a feeling 4 - 5 steps after the pass is gone won't be roughing the passer for him this year.

Tony made some claims about the league on Colin's show and they became a news story and now the NFL is refuting them because they look so freaking disingenuous.

Romo pointed out that the league is sponsoring an MGM Casino Suite at Ford Field, they allow betting lines to be talked about on pre-game shows and they absolutely love the fact that wagering on the NFL is a billion dollar business outside of Nevada -

But god forbid the players hold a Fantasy Football Festival in a Vegas convention center.

That's why David Silver of the NBA is embracing Vegas because he knows they are never going to stop it so might as well market the wagering and get in on the action.

They just want there piece of the pie and are embarrassed they didn't come up with the idea! It's total crap because of all the money that had to be put up for the casino, marketing, the players, etc and then the league tells them NO at the last minute? Total dogpoop!

I'm thinking the NFL got caught out of the Fantasy Football market and will look to get their own piece of the pie.

Whoever was responsible for posting this should be fired.

there was a article about it yesterday on PFT it was called like "the NFL Trolls Romo" and it said it was in bad taste and it ended with it only gives cowboys fans one more reason to think on Sunday that the NFL really does have it out for their team.

Here's the link for the Cowherd/Romo interview, for those that care.
http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=13043815

thanks for the link, Tony said NFL was immature in how they handled it.
It isnt about the location, and what they did was threaten the players attending with fines.
Tony was not happy about it.
the NFL is the owners, so I guess they want a piece every dime made using nfl brand.

The waiting till the last minute was also bad.
