He's just a bad head coach. We have no way of proving that he wouldn't be effective as a DC. It's not like he forgot how to run a defense all of a sudden.

Singletary would also be a great option. We just need guys who are fiery and will instill some discipline back into the team.

I might take Singletary as a linebackers coach, but that's it. There's no way he's qualified to be a D Coordinator.

I would have no problem with Dave as DC. With the talent we have on defense he could do a really good job. In the 90s his goal on defense was to keep the opponent to 17 or less and he did it quite often.
