What a game. The offense was magnificent and no one on this site...not one...thought they would hang 48 on Denver.

The defense was abused but made plays to keep them in the game when it really needed to. I still think the offense needs more balance. Especially later in the game.

Congrats to Romo on the game he had today. The INT at the end was a heartbreaker but without him being absolutely fantastic the Cowboys wouldn't have had a shot.

2-3 looks bad...but I've no doubt that the team that played today is the best team in the division and should beat the Commanders next week.

Anyway...I didn't think we had a chance against Denver. I really didn't.

Good post. I'm crushed but it was as excited as Ive been in a long time. Hopefully the offense will open up more from here on out.

We should and could have won todays game. But at the end, it comes down to coaching. Garrett didn't take Romo aside and calm him down a little. Garrett never does that. Romo will be blamed for losing this game. But if we had a different coach, I think the situation would have been different. Romo would not throw that INT. The coach would have called the right call rather than the same ole' dropback shotgun play. But no. Garrett failed again. Garrett just doesn't have the football mentality to win a game like that.

or it destroyed them and I think that's what will happen, the O played its butt off and the D was horrible, how can you as a O player not want to slap anyone on that D is beyond me

You cannot put this loss on garret. They had no answer for our passing game the whole game.

The reason we lost is because our defense was atrocious. NO punts forced. As successful as our offense was, it is embarassing for our defense to give up 51 points.

I don't blame romo or Garrett . Fact is our only hope was to out score Denver and they both knew it and went for broke.
Blame ?
I start front and center with a def that forced 0 punts all day. I know Peyton is great but good god 51?
If our defense doesn't improve very quickly , we are toast this yr. period

I don't blame Garrett for this lost also. But Garrett always finds a way to lose games like this, not win it. Close games he buckles under pressure or lacks the leadership skills to make sure we win it. Look at all the close games. We lost it because of mental errors. That has to do with coaching. Although Garrett is not to blame, he sure didn't help with the situation when there is 2 minutes left.

Every d has looked bad aginst the broncos Romo has been the first QB to go punch for punch with Manning. I'm not that upset about the loss, we showed some great signs today. They proved what the o can do, when you let Romo be Romo, there is no good loss, but this is something to build on.

The offense put on a helluva show that's for sure. We can beat Denver and they have been unstoppable thus far. The defense needs some SERIOUS attention.
