thats really awful...brings back memories of another fairly highly regarded OL (also a guard as I recall) who died right before the draft, the name escapes me at the moment but I am pretty sure he played at Arkansas

Might have had a heart defect that was undetected. A friend of mine died at 16 years old and they later found he had an enlarged aorta that went undetected.
