At least we found something he can do well. But watching this guy whiff on tackles again was difficult.

At the beginning of the game I saw Woods come in for a tackle. I was hoping he had taken the position. But alas it was not to be.

Otherwise great effort by the D. Game pretty much fell exactly into their hands. Having Hitchens and Lee back together was big. Playing the Niners didnt hurt either.

Family got together yesterday, since an aunt and uncle of mine stopped through town, and as much as I enjoyed the game, watching Heath kick was probably the highlight of the game. Like how bad is Chris Jones at kicking FGs that we went with Heath. Maybe it's because he's the holder, and you don't want to switch there, but Heath kicking a FG if needed wasn't going to happen.

Woods had a big whiff himself.

Woods has been playing in the previous games. They play a lot of 3 Safety sets.

Any good kickers out there?

Did the Jets cut Nick Folk?

It was a missed tackled where he wasn't able to fully wrap up around the receivers leg and led to a first down. But what about Jeff Heath shoulder tackle that led to a big run by Carlos Hyde?

At least he was serviceable in the kicking role, and seemed to get better as the game progressed. I think one of his Kick Offs actually made the end zone for no run back, and his last extra point was right down the middle.

That said, bring back the pre season kicker. He gets them into the end zone, and I believe was good for 45 yarder or so
