Raised on Miracle Whip and converted when married to Hellman's as I was to learn that was the year of compromise, another term for letting her have her way.. Have since added Kewpie and Duke's to the mayo mix.

However, for tuna salad, aka tunafish salad in the South because we have to differentiate between that and tunachicken, tunacow or tunapig salad and REO Speedwagon understood this when they finally admitted one could tune a piano but not a fish. I think that singing fish on the wall came along later.

I haven't met a condiment I do not like and like mixing them as well like mayo and chipotles or Sriracha, mustard with pickled jalapenos and juice and ya gotta use mayo when making tartar sauce and remoulade.

Miracle Whip can NOT even be in the discussion... what are you doing?

Hellman's, Kraft but preferably Duke's...

I grew up on Miracle whip, but only mixed with tuna. Otherwise I'm not a fan of mayo in any form.

Best Foods. I hate Miracle Whip. I hate adding sweetness to foods that are meant to be savory.

Looks like we got us one fine brouhaha going on here and the battle lines are being drawn. Seems the Miracle Whip haters are almost as vocal as the Dakaters.

Michael, ever the likable Moderator, is trying to get out in front of this with diplomacy and reasoning but I fear this will go the way of most of our discussions, the Hatfield's and McCoy's, blood and bullets and we've already had our intermarriage with me and my wife and my acquiescence to all things Mayo.

But what about tuna salad, you put sweet pickles in that like most people do?

The key is balance, I put lemon juice and pepperoncini juice in my tuna salad so it's neither savory or sweet, it's tuna salad.

Nope, dill pickles all the way. But only if I don't have tomatoes. If I have delicious ripe tomatoes to put in it, pickles overwhelm that flavor so no pickles at all in that case.

Two totally different products and product uses IMO.

For example...

Use mayo in potato salad and deviled eggs.

Use miracle whip in tuna fish.

One is not a substitute for the other. And if you think you can then you are a food rube.

Im sorry @MichaelWinicki , but like @CouchCoach implies this is futile. This is an age old battle of two factions that can not share any space with each other.

The loser may have to colonize another planet, and even then they may not be safe

I've never herd of that but I like peppers in mine raw not pickled peppers
I go the pickled route because I love vinegar. Love it, must have a dozen flavors and I use dill pickle juice, sour pickle juice, pickled jalapeno and serrano and pepperoncini juice in brines and Bloody Mary's and Michelada's.

If it does not have pickles in it it is not tuna salad.
