Houston, we have a problem. I mean besides the Texans. We admire your love of the Cowboys and applaud you for divorcing an eagles fan. However she cannot be allowed to permanently taint your son's affections within the NFL. If you lived in Texas, the law would declare her an unfit mother for rooting for the eagles.

What about positive reinforcement for rooting for the Cowboys? Small gift wrapped boxes of candy. If he boos the Eagles, he gets a toy. Just don't send him back to his momma's wearing a good Cowboy's jersey as she'd probably destroy it.

The story is my 1st Christmas I needed a stocking and my mother put two in front of me a Giants one or cowboys one and I picked that one. The ex wife thing was a slap in the face she didn't even like football then I got her watching it. Well being from NY and living less then 30 mins from Syracuse donovan mcnabb was king and she liked the name Donovan and she said some day we will name our son that I was like cool. Well you know what team drafted him and they rest is history. Oh and NO his name is not Donovan I said Hell NO

Mikeb if you've spent any time in the forums, you know this is a lie! Not that we mind, Coach comes up with some of the funniest stuff here that doesn't include pictures or videos.

I admire your taste in Christmas stockings! You should have been enrolled in a school for gifted children on that decision alone! As for the ex wife thing, that's unfortunate and why we call them exes. My ex got into football because that's where I was when the Cowboys played. He tried to whoop and holler for the Cowboys and made me miserable in the process. Bandwagon fans are the worst! Fans of other teams can be just as bad.

Seems like all of the recent Newbies seem to start with a variant of "I've been watching/lurking for a while and decided to join", dem dere bushes musta been mighty crowded.
You've already got Folks agripped (dats Ye Olde English with a 3 syllable pronunciation) by the Epic struggle to turn Your Laddie from the Dark Side, We're all rooting for a Happy Ending.
