Dude what happened to you last night? I felt like you were a solid this year but last night you looked lost.
 
He's not the only one.

Once again Carter looked completely lost in coverage. He got so turned around on the Reed catch it was just disgusting.

McClain missed a couple of big tackles as well. Church did not tackle well either. I'm sure Rod will be all over the guys for a lot of poor tackling that took place last night and played into Colts strength which is the short control passing game. As long as Wash could stay in 2nd and 3rd and short Colt was able to do just what he did at Texas. Last nights game was the worst tackling I have seen this year from this group.
 
Yes. The most missed tackles all season. It seemed. Terrible game.

Colt played the game of his life and we couldn do anything about it.

If Carter would have showed any awareness he could have easily broke up the pass to Reed. That was just one of many bad plays to go with many missed tackles.

Thia was the worst game we've played this year. IMO. It happens. We will bouce back vs the Cards.
 
The tackling was pretty cruddy in general last night. They just seemed somewhat out of sorts.
 
Church has always been a little overrated by our fans. He's a sure tackler, but we shouldn't notice him as much as we do. He puts up the volume numbers that he does because our front is atrocious.

True a lot of bad angles to the ball carrier that allowed those extra yards keeping Colt in great situations.
 
What a game from Wilcox though. Maybe he took a few wonky angles but he high pointed the ball like we haven't seen him do before
 
Church only does one thing well and that is tackle, he whiffed all day. Furthermore I was surprised to see Wilcox actually make a play on the ball because he does nothing well.
 
Durant was the best defensive player yesterday. Ro sucked, mostly. Don't want to hear ppl say he's better than Sean lee.
 
Barry will be fine. The linebackers should've been there to clean things up. If he's not getting burned, then I'm ok.
 
His tackling was really bad last night. Very frustrating to watch. Wilcox did play really well again, though, from what we were able to see with the cameras. Especially with the picks and the sideline to sideline tackles.

it was 1 game. I do think Ro makes a better MLB given his size over Lee. I think Lee is quicker and plays with a coaches mind always understanding what he is seeing and reacting to it. This does not have to be an either or situation both guys in the lineup will be a big help to this defense.
 
losing durant will hurt. he is having a fine season. seemed like the whole defense played a step behind last night. you generally have a couple games a year where you don't play well. good teams figure out a way to win some of those and we have to do the same. this defense is playing their hearts out but lets be honest, there is not a ton of talent on that side of the ball. we have no pass rush and thats a big deal
