The last issue of ESPN News had a feature on NFL wives and Erin McBriar said she goes on internet web sites to defend her husband (and other Cowboy players) from criticism.

Since you know this is the preeminent Cowboys forum on the internet, you know she's here.

I wonder how many players or their spouses come to this site to talk trash or try to set the record straight on different issues. Would be interesting to know. I know a few of the sports writers are on here.

doubt she comes here

Why would you say that when she said she does go on these kinds of sites? Especially this one.

She is definitely way out of his league.

Just sayin'.

If she's here I hope she passes on this board's sentiment to Matt that we are all big fans of his punting and hope that he recovers from his nerve injury. I work with a lab that does a lot of work on nerve regeneration following peripheral nerve injury - she is free to give me a PM if she wants about Matt's situation.

I really hope he gets healthy and we sign him even though he is going to be a free agent. I think he was having his best season before he hurt his plant foot.

McBriar is a multi-millionaire and professional athlete.

Just sayin'.

I was about to come in and say McBriar is probably the least criticized player on the Cowboys lol. He's been consistent and comes through at all times.

I dunno if I'd call him a 'professional athlete'. But yeah, I get your point.

Fortunately for her, Mat almost never gets any criticism. :)
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. When does she have to defend him? The only times he's not great is when he's injured.

Not bad...........

Seriously? Get a grip, homer. He's a punter. It's okay, you can put your pom poms away.

Im serious. Its really hard. He has been, arguably, the best punter in the league for 4-5 yrs.
