Culture is the home win/loss record and playoff success or lack there of over the past 25 years.

Brand over success on the field

Ownership is exceptional no matter the football outcome

Headlines over wins

Coaching doesn’t matter

Players matter more than coaches

Soft and always coming up short when it matters

That’s your Dallas Cowboys culture.

Culture as it relates to the Dallas Cowboys is 100% Jerry Jones. If you want a great example, go watch the All or Nothing episode when Zeke gave up after an interception. The coaches were upset and Jerry started the Monday meeting by claiming there are no excuses but then proceeded to give nothing but excuses for Zeke. Players know nothing will happen to them with because Jerry has their back.

The only reason the team has 3 SBs is because Jerry was focused on paying off the loan he took to purchase the team and turning the Cowboys into a profit machine instead of a money pit. That allowed Jimmy to focus on building the team without much meddling from Jerry. When Jerry paid the loan off he had the time to meddle and the downfall of the Cowboys began.

The culture of the Dallas Cowboys is sizzle, not steak. Fame is reached by reaching the team, not accomplishments on the field. The star on the helmet makes them a star.

No other evidence of the culture of this franchise is needed other than when Wade Phillips was denied raising fines for players being late or missing meetings and Booger one upped that with "media passes" for the stars.

The culture is accent on the promotional and marketing aspects; the product is secondary.

This franchise has the same conduit that the reality show is to the Kardashians, it's celebrity status without really doing anything. As long as that awesome person can hold court in the media, culture realized.

Well said. The product is promotion. Ticket sales and merchandising receipts are the coin of this culture. Instead of wins and Lombardis.
