I'm trying to get a depth chart for 53. Who should I cut or replace in your opinion. I can't get it to 53 which I guess is a good thing. I'm not so worried as much about the starters as I am getting down to 53.

This is assuming Kai Parham was signed.

You think we will only carry 4 Corners? I know 5WR's is not unlikely.

I'd say McQuistan and Whitley are major reaches to make the roster. Columbo is much more likely.

I think Thornton might have trouble making the roster this year.

I think Peterman might be on the bubble as well.

We'll keep at least five corners and prolly three safeties. Columbo's been getting props out of Valley Ranch, so I expect he'll be around.

I have a total of 53 but we will need to find someone that can do 2 things like OL/LS because we still need a KO specialist.

McQuistan hasn't played a lot of football - probably the best he will be able to do is practice squad for 2006, and compete for a roster spot in 2007. I don't see Pepper Johnson AND Stanley both making the team - Johnson will be on the bubble, because he is more of a tweener- end/tackle. Stanley is more of a pure nose tackle who will allow Bradie James, Ayodele, et. al. to make tackles. Kalen Thornton probably won't make the team. Ryan Fowler is a good backup ILB/special teamer. He will be tough to knock off the roster. He played well in the last game of the year as a starter vs. the Rams - I see him staying before Shanle. Singleton makes too much money to be a backup - I see him being released or traded in June. Lousaka Polite probably stays as the only FB on the roster - even though we will primarily run the 2 TE offense, we need a lead blocker for short yardage/goaline, etc.
