So i keep reading this... "According to Elias, Prescott and Johnny Lujack (1948 Bears) are the only rookie quarterbacks to start 6-1 in NFL history."
Am I wrong or didn't Rothlesburger in 04 start like 13-0 with the steelers?

From best I can tell he didn't start their first two games that season. So I don't know if that stat is using that as a qualifier -- guys who started from Game 1 of their rookie seasons.

According to Pro Football Reference, Lujack started only three games at quarterback in 1948. Sid Luckman started eight, and Bobby Layne started one. Lujack played kicker and defense for most of the season.

That's the thing about phony stats... there's no definition on them, so who the heck knows? Maybe Big Ben only went 4 innings in the first two games.

Dak has already had four games with a passer rating above 110. Here are the only rookies with more in a single season.

7 Wilson 2012
5 Marino 1983
5 Ryan 2008
4 Prescott 2016
(5 others tied at four games)

I'm pretty sure that Dak is the first rookie to have four in a row at 114 or higher and five in a row at 103 or higher.

He's also the first rookie to have five games of 100 or better and/or four of 110 or better within the first seven games of the season.
