In 1992 the Cowboys did go 13-3. That year one loss was to the Commanders, not two. The Commanders however were the defending Super Bowl Champs from Super Bowl XXVI. Is this idiot claiming they went from Champs to 3-13? If so, then he's lying. In 1992, they were 9-7.
Okay, let's move on to 1993. Oops, we weren't 13-3 that year, we were 12-4. Once again we ddi lose one game to the Commanders, but not two. Oh, that game we lost just happened to be the 1st game of the year and a guy named Emmitt Smith was still holding out. They did stink that year being only 4-12, but that isn't 3-13. Oh, and they weren't the worst team in the league that year either. The Bengals were. So he still doesn't have a fact straight, but he's got one more shot at it.
In 1995 we were not 13-3, but we were 12-4. Dang, there was the slimmest chance he had a shot at a fact. We did in fact get swept by the Commanders that year. Might this be the year he was thinking of and he only got the 13-3 mixed up with the 12-4? No, because the Skins were 6-10 that year and far from the worst team in the League.
Translation, this little claim of his NEVER happened.
No, the closest this guys gets to a point is that when a team is great, a lowly team can still win. You know, like when we were 3-13 in 1988 and 1-15 in 1989, by far the worst team in the NFL. Two of our 4 wins those two years were against his Commanders. Think he'd dare point that out? Come on, he's already a liar. His scenario never happened.
