Don't know any free ones, but a few weeks back I looked into video file conversion programs on download.com, and came up with several that offered you free trials, for like 7-30 days... wish I had the printouts handy, but they're at home and I'm at work... so go to download.com, type in video file conversions in the search engine, and go to town...

Hope this helps you convert those movies you downloaded on Limewire or Bearshare into files you can burn onto a DVD and play on your home entertainment system... :D

I finally decided to heck with all that, and went out and bought an inexpensive DVD recorder for the home entertainment system back in my bedroom... I'll be burning movies off of HBO, Cinemax, The Movie Channel, Starz and such...

File Sharing/torrent downloads. Go to C-Net.com and download a software program called Bit-Comet. Everything is free Movies, Music, Software etc.

The program I got for free with the file sharing software was WinAVI video converter. It's very simple to use for the primary video file formats.

Here is the file sharing software download que at C-Net.......

Do a search for WinAvi once you have installed the filesharing software (Bit-Comet).

Good luck.:)

You sure that doesnt come with a trojan virus?

Edit: NeverMind, got one without a Trojan Horse and Serial #. Thanks!

Actually guys I just used my own (BitLord):D

Another question: Is there anyway to reduce the size of huge files that I want to burn on a disc? Or do I literally have to buy Double Layer Dvd Discs to make it fit.

You can always reduce size, by making the audio dolby digital 2.0 instead of pcm. And you can change the quality, instead of say 8000 kbs make it 5000 kbs and you will create a ton of space.

BitLord is so lame. Has ads and crap... trust me you'll love Utorrent.
