My wife bought me an X-Box a few years ago (not the X-Box 360) for my office. Bless her heart, I've never played it except a couple of go 'rounds on the NASCAR game. Just not into that kinda' stuff. Takes too much time to learn things, especially the military games and Batman/Spiderman stuff.

Anyway, the kids have the Playstation 3 in the den, and the boy of course is a whiz. After a lot of pestering and begging, I finally let him have the X-Box for his room under strict rules and time limits.

I've got about 15 games for the machine, but he wants HALO and I can't find it any where here on The Big Island of Hawaii. Before I sick the wife on E-Bay or Craigslist, anyone out there got HALO sittin' around for the original X-Box (again, NOT the 360)? I understand there are three different HALO games out there..............

I'd also entertain any other X-Box games is you want to get rid of any......

I'm pretty sure I have seen it in Best Buy pretty cheap.

Yeah, probably. But again, that's the problem. When you live in Hawaii, especially the outer/neighbor Islands, not everything is available. We're kinda' limited. Not like the mainland when it comes to an abundance of shopping venues.

The problem is, is that in this video-game world, they come out with the NEW thing every two or three years. And then the former stuff becomes obsolete and out-dated. It's a pretty good little schtick they go going on. Every kids' gotta' have the "new" thing when it comes out. So you end up buying a new unit every other year, while the "old" unit works just fine.
