I thought the Saints game was just a fluke.

The Falcons really exposed Henry.

The Iggles dominated Henry [I was shocked at how slow he was on the INT return]

I don't think this guy is going to be a Dallas Cowboy in 2007.

Henry is an adequate NFL CB that plays the run well but isn't the fastest guy in the world. He's not getting paid huge dollars, 5 yrs/ 25 Mil. He'd be fine with Newman and a couple solid safties. Maybe some LB's that could cover might help also.....this defense might lack in a lot of areas unless the young guys get better...... much beter.

The D has been exposed for some time

The Doomsday defense now literally means... the Cowboys are Doomed by there Defense

I don't see much of a limp.

He will be with the team in 2007. Let's be realistic. He didn't receive a 10 million signing bonus to be cut in two years. And yes, he's playing with a bum knee.

I saw the effects more then a few times but that's not the point. Henry has been picked on week after week. Most coaches would have made an adjustment by now but not Zimmer and Parcells. If your CB is hurt and you have someone of Glenns ability on the bench don't you make the change until either Henry becomes healthy or Glenn proves he can do no better?

I'm sure Parcells would argue you then leave yourself open in nickle but if Henry is healthy enough to start but struggeling is putting him in Glenns spot in nickle not the obvious choice?

I just continue to see excuses under Parcells and no adjustments.

It's getting old.

You're just now seeing Henry being exposed? It's been going on since mid last season.

Look...Glenn is not an upgrade for Henry.

Glenn is way too small to be playing corner [he was destroyed by the Iggles TE yesterday] and gives up way too many big plays [remember the arm-bar call vs the Falcons last week? the 2 TDs vs the Commanders in 05?]

Henry was playing way off the Iggles and thats b/c he's slow.

Personally, I think Henry is a solid NFL Corner and I really dont long for the days of Pete Hunter and Mario Edwards.

But Geez, these guys are ask to cover way way too long. The Front whatever is not getting any pressure on the opposing QBs.

Folks that is how you beat us.

Get Ware in Coverage or run up the middle or to the opposite side of Ware.

That is all you have to do.

So who is the lesser of two evils? I'd take Glenn over Henry right now.

Neither.

I'd take a Pass Rush...even a moderate pass rush would be sufficient.

Precious little pass rushing has a way of exposing CBs, particularly when the CB is playing hurt and opposite someone of T-New's caliber.

Henry is never around the ball.

He's either playing way off the WR [afraid to give up the deep route], or late on his run support.

I'm sorry if he is a favorite player, but he's not able to play.

why does this shock and surprise people still? He is slow.....and will only get slower as he gets older. Parcells should mix it up and give Glenn more reps on 1st and 2nd down. Throw the element of surprise at the opposition.

Glenn isn't very high on my list either.

While he does have some speed left, he is way too small to play corner and gives up way too many big plays/penalties.

I'll never forget his sorry performance last year vs the Commanders [2 late 4th Qtr TDs]

Henry should be moved to free safety. Let Glenn start at corner. This would make our base defense much better in coverage and allow Roy Williams to play closer to the line where he is more effective. Let one of the young corners come in during the nickel. However as stated earlier in the thread, even a moderate pass rush would help our coverage a lot.
