This. I live in Arlington and it's just too expensive and too much of a hastle to get out to the games only to be disappointed by poor performances from the team.

Yet the saints fans and 9er fans can afford it? Did not know the economy was so good in La and Cal. lol

I don't know what they're doing for those tickets or how they got them, or at what price, I'm just saying, it's too expensive and it's easier to watch the game from my house. I've been to a few games and it's just not worth it, and I found myself looking at that monstrosity of a screen the majority of the time. Texas stadium was always a much better experience for me.

unless they are getting it through ticketmaster they are paying more than face value for them. Stubhub and other ticket re-sale are not taking less money.

For the guys around me, it's less about sending a message and more about not wanting the waste their time.

Arlington is a hike for most of D/FW, and going to a game is an all day event. I'm usually out there between 8-10 hours between tailgating, driving, etc...

It's also very expensive, tickets aside. Parking is at least $40 + another $100 drinks and food + dealing with all the drunks after the game. All for a poor experience.
This would be less of a problem if Laura Miller didn't block the downtown Dallas stadium plans.

Maybe because it is true, I have been to a Cowboys/Saints game in Cowboy Stadium and a lot of Saints fans were there it is a short drive for them and yes they are loud. No doubt there will be many Saints fans at this game as well.

I wouldn't go to an NFL game if I got a free ticket! Coach potato fan here!

It works for me but I get people wanting the live experience. It's just way too expensive. I'd rather spend my money on clothes! :p

I understand. I just hate how non-chalant he is about it and how he takes zero responsibility for this recent phenomenon. At least lie to me and say it hurts to see that and we're going to look at ways to reverse this trend going into the future by making changes in how we distribute tickets. Is this too much to ask from this man?

Regardless of how they got them, the tickets are too expensive and you'll find yourself staring at the screen more than the actual game. The high school playoff games are a better experience in Jerry World moreso than the Cowboys at this point, and it's much more cost efficient.

Why? those people still bought the tickets and he got the money they choose not to go. Myself I have tickets to Thanksgiving I will be there along with family to cheer on our boys as we do every year but that is me, I'm a die hard fan

you're looking at it from a business perspective. the problem is you're not on cnbc, you're on a weekly DALLAS COWBOYS radio show. show some empathy and emotion to the issue. we don't care how it affects his bottom line.

It is the fans choice, people expect he is going to fire himself NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. If this team wins people will show that is the sad part, I will support you when you win but you are on your own when your not. In the late 80's people were not going to Texas Stadium even with God like Landry on the sideline, Dallas was not winning a support went down the tubes I had no problems at all getting tickets pretty much could sit in any section I wanted. Cowboys then started winning and fans showed up tickets became harder to get. Say any way you like but those are fair weather fans and I have know Cowboys have many of those for a long time

When the ticket prices go down is when you will see more rabid fans. Not the white collar fans or corporate suite fans that currently attend the game

Maybe it's just your section, but it's not like that up top

ticket prices are low enough, it's the secondary market that drives them up. The secondary market is driven by deman, which the Cowboys will always have plenty of. The size of the stadium and the Dallas population are more of the issue, but that doesnt get as many clicks.

This is a comment that I pulled from Dallas News, and how most fans around here feel. Whether people like it or not on here, this is why the opposing teams fans take over Jerry World every Sunday.

"I wish a hurricane would take would take out that turd on the turnpike he calls a stadium, with him inside it!!! I see a complete collapse this weekend, I hope that stadium is full with Saints fans because no legit Cowboy fan would give a single dime to that snake oil salesman we have for an owner. COWBOY FANS WE NEED A CHANGE- DO YOUR PART -NO GEAR, NO TICKETS, NO ATTENDENCE"
