anyone else think anthony henry looked slow on his interception?

he looked slow off the line of scrimmage. he looked slow following stallworth across the field. he looked slow on the return. he should have scored. i think any other of our defensive backs would have.

man he looked slow...

In all fairness though it was a guy with 4.2 speed who caught him.

It looked to me like he was playing hurt. He was limping while he was running. Just a few plays before that it showed his face after a play and he was grimacing in pain. He played through it. So, yes he was slow, but not for lack of effort.

There's probably only one or two cornerbacks in the NFL who can outrun Donte Stallworth. One of them is on our team, but it's definitely not Henry.

Playing with a bum knee. How do people not know this stuff?

Henry has been on a crutch the last 3 games.

You think teams are throwing on Newman?

Yep, I thought the same thing. But a bum knee would explain it...

There is a reason he has 88 speed in Madden 2007....

And caught by a guy with 97 speed.. Guess Madden isn't so unrealistic after all.....

Forget Stallworth and just concentrate on Henry. He was slow. Any decent WR would have caught him from behind.

geeze....I'm just glad someone on defense actually made a play...a DB actually jumped a route, saw the ball, and intercepted it...I'm not going to rag on the guy for getting caught.

Watching that return, my first thought was there's another sluggish Christmas brownie eater.:laugh2:

That was slow-mo slow. Turtle slow, snail slow, dial-up modem slow, from my boy AH.

Geez.

But his move on that ball sure was purty.

he definitely looked slow on the return. After only 2 strides, it was obvious that Stallworth would catch him. It's not just that he looked slow, he looked really awkward running almost like a LB. He's obviously struggling with that sore knee because he's a much more fluid runner than what he showed last night.

All you gotta do is compare Henry's runback on his INT for a touchdown vs Arizona last year to how he was running after his pick vs the Eagles.
