Henson Love

Just checked the front page.

Shockingly, there are two Henson-bashing threads, and one thread mocking them.

I'm glad my math wasn't the only one that added up to this. Henson love threads? Where?

All I see are people posting their opinions in Henson is a waste threads.

Off topic JUST a little?. I doubt you have watched every single game of his college career at UT. And he has yet to throw a pass in the NFL so dont rush to judgement.

How have I rushed to judgement on Henson, I mean hes been in the NFL 3 years now? and accomplished umm nothing at all?

And im just reiterating what the answer is saying that alot of this love for henson is unwarranted.

He has been in the league 2 years this upcoming training camp will mark his 3rd season with the Cowboys it will also mark 3 years since he returned to football. Most people expected this was going to take more time than a QB coming right out of college but was worth the risk given what most scouts felt was very good talent. Henson being on this team is not hurting us 1 bit

If you remember Joel Buschbaum reported when Henson left to play baseball that he, (Buschbaum), surveyed several GMs at the time and the vast majority of them said they would have taken Henson over Vick with the #1 pick in the draft. That's the kind of potential he showed in College.

So, several years later here we sit without our young, franchise QB like Manning, Brady, Rothlisberger, Palmer, etc. and the only player we have on the roster at the QB position who had the College hype those guys had is Henson. (I'm not counting Bledsoe, of course, simply because of his age and the limited number of years he has left to play).

If we were to acquire the next Aikman, Brady or Palmer and that guy stepped up and showed he was the future, you would see the love and infatuation for Henson die pretty quickly. I say that and I'm a Henson supporter. That's just the way it is as a fan. I simply want us to acquire the next great Cowboy QB.
