Herd w/Colin Cowherd"You're paying the Ferrari price and in big games, he's a Civic. It's time to make calls."

Honestly, I'm pissed!!! Dak is not getting the proper help both in training/coaching, playcalling and surrounding help concerning players, and it keeps affecting the team.
It’s no different than previous qb they are and we’re flawed differently

Tony had Garrett which was part of his issue

I’m concerned about Daks regression TBH he is going the wrong direction and I’m not sure that coaching fixes slow processing

He’s a different qb under pressure he still good just not good enough when he has time he’s as good as anyone in the league

Right now his WR’s not named lamb don’t get open and don’t fight for ball and that’s not helping him but he needs to adjust and don’t

All true, but it still destroys Cowturd's assessment that Dak does not perform well in big games.
He does not play at a high level CONSISTENTLY that is required to win 3 or 4 playoff games. That's the issue.

You need to be at a peak level for an entire month of playoff football for ultimate success.
Dak doesn't have it in him to do that, despite the occasional very good game.

After 7 years, this is what he is

Go back to school, dunce. He added together and averaged out Dak's 2 bad performances but left out the good games stats. He did it intentionally to skew the stats average badly against Dak. Had he added Dak's excellent stat numbers as well, it would have totally destroyed his biased argument. Unbelievable how dumb you made yourself look thinking I got it wrong.
Yeah you’re just not smart. You Dak defenders are a sad bunch. Dak is eh period

Once again, true, but it still destroys Cowturd's lie.

They can make all the calls they like. They gave Dak a no trade clause and he has no incentive to waive it. The Jones boys made their bed and we're all sleeping in it.
He needs an incentive, bench him, that's all the incentive he needs...lol

Dak is likely here two more years.

So we already know the ceiling for the next two years.

As to a comparison with Allen.. Lol.. just lol. Allen is getting heat.. and justifiably so.. he put in a stinker against the Bengals.

BUT Allen is twice the QB Dak is.. Allen showed last year that he can play to that high level consistently in big games.. Allen was going up against Burrows and the Bengals.. and has to play in a conference with Mahomes. Allen plays at Buffalo.. the graveyard of QB play.. and still delivers time and time again. The Bills had plenty of holes in the roster this year.

Allen had a bad game.. but still has more tape, more moments.. more evidence that he can carry an offence than Dak.

This is NOT a 'one off' failure for Dak.. this is a pattern. Dak DID have a defence doing its job, Dak DID have a running core doing their job, Dak DID have receivers open, Dak had perfect field conditions, Dak had an OLine that was giving up, statistically, the lowest % of pressures for the entire weekend.

Comparing Dak to Allen.. seriously.. wtaf

He isn’t paid like a Ferrari anymore - more like a corvette
9th highest QB contract currently and that is before Burrows extension. Wish the NFL would do something with QB contract being separate from the cap because it’s crazy. The problem for Dallas will be an extension that they might try to do to clear up more space for next year.

Colin Cowherd is the Captain Obvious of everything. There is nothing unique, special or overly sophisticated that comes out of his mouth. Anyone could easily see Dallas Overpaid Dak based on his performance the last few years. Colin Cowherd is the same ding dong Picked Carson Wentz as the top QB in the NFC EAST for 2022. Let that **** sink in for a minute.
