If Geno Smith were to drop in the first round, he would likely garner the most interest from Jerry Jones. If you remember correctly, Jerry Jones selected Quincy Carter in the second round of the 2001 draft. At the time, Jones was in awe over Carter's athletic ability. Unfortunately, Carter never ended up being much of anything in the National Football League. However, he does draw a lot of similarities with Geno Smith. Do not be surprised if Jerry Jones doesn't end up loving Geno Smith even a little more than he loved Quincy Carter in 2001.

Blind speculation, especially of the "jerry does crazy things, so therefore jerry is likely to do whatever the craziest thing i can think of is" variety, is not the same thing as a rumor. Rumors bear some relationship with the truth. They are based on interviews with people who are actually in a position to know the truth. They may not turn out to be true, but there should be a possibility that they could be true. This is just hurling crap against the wall to see what sticks.
