Word on the street is Ro hasn't been practicing.

He'll be gassed often and taking himself out of the game.

Kind of difficult to practice by yourself, but like you, I don't expect a full game effort from him next week. I do recall reading that he was at the facility working out during his suspension, so hopefully the trainers have kept him as ready as is possible without actual practice. There's not much doubt that Lee will be out next week, so a full-go McClain would be a tremendous help.

I am inclined to say the same. I have zero faith in McClain. No matter what the NE game is gonna be UGLY.

The bus needs to put up more than 13 points in 55 minutes against Drew Brees.

In fairness to Weedon, there's not one element of the team that that is playing up to par, IMO. Weedon's stats right now: 45-59-551-2-1. I know stats don't tell the whole story, but IMO, those are very adequate for a backup "bus driver". He does seem to go down for the sack pretty easily, but that may very well be what he has been instructed to do. That said, sacks and throw aways are acceptable in the sense that you usually live to fight another day compared to throwing a pick. If the OL and defense would do their job to the level I thought they were capable of, I don't think I would be quite as worried about the season as I am, currently. If I'm being honest, though, it's hard to really blame anyone for how the team is playing. The inordinate amount of injuries to key players has this team totally out of synch right now. It is what it is.

With all the sorrow that this season is Ro and Hardy return. That's about the only thing I can get excited about.

The defense will change immensely with Ro running the middle again. He just brings something Lee and Hitch don't possess.
