Driving in this morning and home last night listening to the radio, the calls where coming in regarding the Cowboys/Broncos game, and let me say the fans here in Denver are showing no respect at all, none. The radio hosts are not showing any either.

Here are some of the comments I heard this morning and last night from Denver fans -

"Drew Bledsoe sucks!"

"I watched a few Dallas games this year, and they are a horrible" Yes this was not only said, but Jim Armstrong agreed.

"We have nothing to worry about"

"Dallas has an overrated defense"

"Dallas would be a last place team in the AFC West"

"We will destroy them"

"Dallas is one dimentional and can not run the ball"

"Why would Denver not beat Dallas, they are nothing great"

"We basically had a bye against the Jets and will be more rested"

and on, and on

There is no respect here in Denver!

For the most part the fans here in Denver have lacked knowledge, and most hate Dallas, so I would not really expect anything different, but just thought I would let you know some things being said so when we win it will feel that much sweeter.

Playing devil's advocate, could agree with all of them except the defense slam. The defense is not overrated. They've proven it time and time again, against some of the league's best offenses. They're tops in the league in some of the most important defensive stats such as sacks and points allowed/game, not like the 2003 team which only had its yards/game stat and probably was overrated.

I agree. There's no reason for us to demand respect. We'll earn it on the field. The only way is to pound them into submission. I don't want to hear any whining about blown ref calls.

I want the game over by the 3rd quarter so I can eat my turkey in peace.

Yeah I remember them saying that 4 years ago too.. when they came in and utterly destroyed our 2-7 team lead by Ryan Leaf that Thanksgiving Day... by 2 points.

We'll see after the game on Thursday. I hope you have a crow stand set up outside Denver's HQ so that Broncos fans can come and get theirs.

I live in Northern NM where the fan loyalty is an even split between Denver and the Cowboys. The game on Thanksgiving Day will be the Northern NM Superbowl, and let me say I've yet to meet a Donkey fan that didn't have cheese-bait on his breath! Let's hope the Donkey players have indulged as well,,,

You know I honestly believe the injuries and dings have made us somewhat uneven offensively, but Condit was the best thing we've done lately, if it comes to a field goal we will take em, as Larry the cabble guy says that new guy can just flat get er done. Wait til they get a taste of Cowboy ball, low scoring, hard hitting, ball control , it works against the best, we were in the Seattle game on the road no less, a kicker can make a difference in this league..

I live in Denver too and the thing you have to remember is that Dallas doesn't play the fans. Most sports fans are a fickle lot and they do their best bragging after the fact. I listened to ESPN radio last night and this does NOT reflect the attitude of Shanahan or the Broncos. It would be nice if it did but I think they respect the Cowboys. I'll be pullin' for the 'boys on T day.

If you're looking for kind words, respect, etc. from denver fans and/or media, then good luck with that. I hate their fans for all sports. I've been to a playoff game there. It was a horrible experience, aside from my team winning. I've heard story after story about fans of Denver teams and they are just horrible.

This is the one game I want the Cowboys to come out and just torch the opponent to no end.

Good - I Love the fact that we're not getting any respect with the Denver fans. I only hope the players do the same.

We nearly pulled that one out if Campo didn't have his head in his backside. I remember we were going for 1 and should have gone for 2 on our TDs at the end of the game.

We had Campo coaching Ryan Leaf that day. Also, Terrell Davis was out that day, and Olandis Gary broke his leg on the 2nd drive. Mike Anderson of 2001 rushed for 118 yards on 33 carries (3.6 yards per carry) against the "vaunted" Cowboys defense.

We were down 26-3 early in the 4th quarter, and finished the game at 26-24.
