That's actually the kind of thinking that gets teams beat.

Cover short and get in his face. Brady loves it when you try to beat him w/ coverage. So, you cut off the short stuff and hit him. Only way.

The first thing the D has to do is shut down the run and keep Brady from play action and when other teams have shut that down early on, they give up. He's thrown more passes than any other QB.

They have to frustrate him by playing in his pocket and hit him often, even a late hit or two isn't bad because it really pisses him off.

The Cowboys offense has to get off to a fast start and not let them dictate the tempo and clock of the game.

Brady led the league in release time so if they're going to give these backs and receivers a cushion, could be a long night. They have to take him off his hot read and hold the ball longer than his usual just over 2 seconds.

But before any of this takes place, they must put Brady in perspective as the rest of the league has with an 8-9 record. He has owned the Cowboys, 0-7, and they must decide enough is enough.

The excuse everyone seems to be using for why the Cowboys sack numbers have dropped and their QB hits have diminished is because QBs are getting rid of the ball quick and no one gets rid of the ball quicker than Brady. Like with Aaron Rodgers, it takes interior pressure to try and contain him.

I agree, outside pressure will not get it done, you got to bring the pressure up the middle get in his face early and often. Brady has been frustrated a lot this season Cowboys must continue to frustrate him

Cowboys have tried variations of all these strategies for nearly 20 years.

None of it has ever worked. Don't see why it would be different this time around
