Sack totals dropped when our DB's started dropping like flies. Everyone hates on Anthony Brown, but it's no coincidence our sack totals have fallen off since his injury. We're getting pressure, but without Brown, QB's are able to find an available WR quicker than they were before he was injured. I don't think he's a great CB by any means, but there's evidence to support that he's at least marginal.

Having said that, hopefully our DB's can do a good job so that our pass rush can get home. I also pray to God that the refs find enough in them to call at least 1 holding penalty!

It's everything. The Cowboys secondary can't cover M. Evans or C. Godwin and the Bucs can't lean on the running game. They've got to throw the ball and they know they've got good matchups with Evans & Godwin against the Cowboys depleted secondary. I'd expect two high safeties from Dallas and for them to rush Lawrence/Parsons and company until their tongues hang to the turf. Who knows what they'll do with this weirdo offense, but common sense would tell you to keep that Brady dude on the bench by running the football with your stable of running backs. If Dallas can sack Brady 4 times and can run the ball for over say 130 yards they win the game.

Not when they have put Parson in the middle and had him rush the QB
There's only so many times you can rush a 250lb man inside. The majority of the time this is an easy match up for the Bucs because the Cowboys DTs are garbage.

Now when they face a real defensive line the following week they'll get exposed and Brady will look old but not this week.

It would be nice if the lost pass rush is suddenly found on Monday. Those pass rushes right up the middle especially bother Brady.
AA blitz all night long....is the answer. Question is...does Quinn have the balls to do it?

In the first meeting...our defense- we got burned...Anthony Brown....and then Quinn lost the nerve to blitz...being more than content to let Brady just pick us apart.
Hopefully...they learned something....Brady is the dump off master.

One thing for sure....we had better tackle well...and jump some routes to plant the seed of doubt in Brady's head. If not...it's gonna be a long off season.

I trust Quinn, but I also believe Brady will have new outlets ready to foil our attempts like rolling out.

Pressure, pressure, pressure

I will add pressure up the gut. It has to come early and often. Brady hates pressure in his face. He is so crafty and slides around in the pocket so I don’t think edge pressure is the answer. They are also going to get the ball out really quick. He needs guys running at him tipping passes, hands in his face and smashing him every chance. I am also a believer they should send the house early to punish him. It’s worth a couple long plays early.

They also have to play a bit tighter in coverage to force Brady to hold on to the ball a tick longer allowing the pressure to get home. Playing 7-9 yards off coverage all game Monday night will send the Cowboys home.
Yep. Guys need to be jamming receiver at the LOS. Remember Seattle? Brady just ate them up with the short stuff.

Best way to control Brady is to keep him off the field we can do that by running the football but dak has to be a part of our running game.

Standing around in the pocket waiting for the big play when there's open real estate in front of him will get us beat.

That said pressure up the middle is great but we don't have elite defensive tackles I believe the focus will be on Michael Parsons

Brady doesn't run He's not fast He's not hard to take down but he makes great decisions at warp speed.

I would try to safety blitz him and I would get him on the ground no matter what if I had to take the penalty take it You're going to get it anyway if you touch him in just about any manner so just make him pay and get him off his game

Do you think if Defensive Coordinators knew 20 years ago all they needed to do was pressure Brady he would still be the GOAT?

You might be right. Maybe I'm not as smart as you, which is entirely possible
Not smart at all here, just been through the ringer!!!!!!!!

Mike Golic: "The only way to beat Brady is to hit him. Even if the play is over, hit him. Hitting him disrupts his timing and rhythm and forces him to speed up his internal clock."

And on the flip side, if we play tight coverage and don't pressure him, he'll tear us up.

Giants beat him twice by hitting him.

For some reason, you've missed the fact that DCs in the NFL are at the top, and are arrogant about their own little plans and schemes.

And then, you appeared to miss that Bellychickens drafted OL's early and often to ultra protect him. And would play 6 OL's to make sure.

Gotta get all your facts in order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
