Games like this worry me. This rivalry is full of moments where one team that shouldn't win somehow beats the other.

Monday night last year when McCoy got a win.

The freakin Campo era. That Monday Night win in 2000 by a terrible Cowboys team at FedEx was a harbinger of the disaster the Commanders season would end up at 8-8.

I'd feel better if the teams were tied in the standings playing each other for first.

Tonight though? Ugh. The Commanders *should* win.

But this freakin rivalry

I remember in 1989 our one win was over the Commanders so anything can happen in this rivalry. I know this game is important for the Commanders ( and to a lesser extent the Cowboys) but I do miss the days when both teams had real meaningful games against each other. It seems like forever. Anyway I'm just going to enjoy the game and whatever happens happens.

It feels really weird that we are in December and this is our first game against each other. Expecting another bizarre finish in this one. Have a good game!

Somehow Norv swept the '95 Cowboys. The '93 Commanders beat the defending champion Cowboys 35-16 on MNF and then proceeded to go 3-12 from that point forward while the 'Boys repeated

That 1989 game was on MNF. The 2000 game was incredibly frustrating as a Commanders fan (a Cowboys 27-21 win)

Should be a good one. Hoping for no injuries either. We know both teams have suffered enough with that this year

The cowboys should play tonight like they have nothing to lose. Nobody expects them to win more than one maybe two more games this year. If they lose , it's expected. So at the very least they should not play tight tonight.

Yes, pull out all the stops. It is a playoff game for us.

Classy post. Yes it's always unpredictable that's what makes it fun.

SHF, when are you guys going to go back to your maroon pants, white jerseys for home games, and white pants, maroon jerseys for away? I can't stand those yellow pants. That maroon with the white and yellow stripe was great. The white pants with the maroon and yellow too. Tell Dan to bring them back.

My kind of game so far... a game that proves that our defense is actually pretty good... and our offense sucks *** without Romo lol.
