I have never seen a cat claw at someone's eyes when they were being groomed. In my experience, cats enjoy being pampered in that way. This cat seems to only want to blind the guy for removing hairball ammunition.The goggles are a smart idea.

Agreed. I think the clawing motion is perhaps a form of affection. Unfortunately, the guy's eyes could be speared by a claw if he did not take the precaution of wearing the goggles. I do not know what is going on in that cat's head. Time to call that guy from My Cat From Hell to psychoanalyze that feline.
