Next weeks game against Philly is no longer a must win game

Dont get me wrong, I hope more than anything that Dallas goes out there and absolutely destroys the Eagles. Which would all basically give Dallas the NFC East at the end of week 14. Week 15 Dallas could seal the deal with a win in Indy or a loss by Philly in LA.

is this worth a thread ?

It is nice to know that we have a division game that isnt a must win.

Especially since Dallas has had 3 must win games over 4 weeks now.

That gets exhausting for us fans and we are barely going into week 14.

We can relax a bit since Dallas got that win against the Saints and since Philly has such a tough 2 games after facing us and our remaining schedule is very favorable.

Sure it is. Not just because "every game is a must win game" as the saying goes.

If you shut down a team like NO, you can't turn around and give all that you gained back by losing to Philly the next week.

If you do, you maintain that .500 mentality that the Cowboys can't seem to escape.

It's December. Either you get hot and make a run in January or you lose to another wild card team. 4 W's in a row is pretty hot.

Right. It's only a must win for the Eagles. The Cowboys don't need it like they do.

But you essentially have the opportunity to win your division on Sunday on your field. Win the game.
Exactly!

It's not a must-win, but it is a must-not-lose game. If they cannot beat a 6-6 team at home, why would they think can beat a much better playoff team on the road.

So true.......especially for a young team with practically no post-season experience

Must win game, period. Players need the momentum and confidence. That also includes the coaches game plan to continue being innovative. Maybe Jerry got sick of mediocrity and read them the riot act!

...Dang the Saints win was huge...The Boys can take it now and face the rest of the season with pride, …"They just beat the Top Dog"...and..."Beat them well!
Going forward....every game is a must win. Don't let up...Onward thru the Fog!...

I'm confused with this logic. If the Eagles win out they win the division. So the Eagles beat Dallas they are in full control of their own destiny and we are not.

The Eagles face the Rams in LA the week after they play us. The following week they will have the red hot Texans at home.

I can see them losing both of these games.

We have Indy and Tampa Bay. We should win both of those. At least that's what I'm betting on.

Don’t get why people piss and moan abt a thread then turn around and post in said thread
I had already clicked on the thread so might as well post. a worthless Post in a worthless thread they go together like peanut butter and jelly

The Saints win is no more important than the win against the eagles. Not needing to win is the same as not playing your stud players because you have it nutted.

This is about stacking wins, building confidence and knocking off all competition which wants to dethrone Dallas after the Saints win.

Any idea this is not the case needs to seriously rethink their position.

Every game from here to the SB is must win.

Indy scares me for some odd reason......

Yes,, you play every game to win,, I never get the if we loose thought process,, if you loose, your probably loosing...lol

Correct me if I’m wrong, but if the Eagles beat us, wouldn’t that also practically clinch the tiebreaker for them?

Meaning they’d win the division just by matching our record. 9-7, 10-6 whatever.

This is a HUGE game for both teams, make no mistake about it.
