You're right about Bright.

McQuistian is moving to guard.

Brewster is moving to tackle, last I heard.

Barron is the swing tackle.

The rest can battle it out.

There will probably be changes. I've always thought of Brewster as a guard.

You're also leaving out Long and then Holland making the team. I think Long makes it over McQuistain, and I know Holland will make the roster.

I think many of us would like Bright to beat out Procter but for some unknown reason, this team thinks highly enough of Procter to put 2nd round tenders on him and pay him over a million dollars.

Barron will definitely surpass McQuistan. McQuistan may move to guard but I don't think he beats out Holland. Keeping him over Brewster makes no sense either.

Brewster is basically a rookie so this year will be a learning year for him. I do think he'll be ahead of Holland by next year though.

Young is a right tackle only and as long as he's groomed to play there, he'll be okay. He is huge, bright, and pretty mean. He could actually be a starter 4 years down the road.

I think we keep 10 o-linemen this year on the 53.
Starters: Doug Free, Kyle Kosier, Andre Gurode, Leonard Davis, and Marc Colombo.
Game-Day Actives: Cory Procter, Alex Barron, and Montrae Holland.

You've got these players right Bright, Barron, Brewster.

Three problems:
1. Brewster stays Tackle. Not saying he couldnt do some guard but I think the cowboys keep him Tackle now. (Thought more like you earlier in off-season before recent moves.
2. Holland stays on 53 man roster. I believe that we are almost certainly taking 10 men on the line this year. Holland and Barron are our vet safety nets
3. Tepper is not a lock. He may well win the 5th spot. Whether he makes it depends on three things. Bright must beat Proctor and Costa at backup center. Must keep ten men. Must beat all of Young, Costa, and Barker. Think he has a good shot but its a long way till August

I hope we don't go any deeper at OL on the active roster than we need to. It's a relatively weak position group for us, and we don't have that much depth worth developing.

Of the depth we do have, I think we like Bright better than most. I don't think there's any way we try to sneak him onto the PS again. I think they're hoping he can be the swing interior lineman with more experience at C.

I'm not particularly worried. Free, Bright, and hopefully Brewster show signs of being potential starters for us down the road. And we've got guys adequate starters and guys with experience to round out the position group for the time being. We don't have a lot of really promising pro-bowl caliber players coming up the OL ranks just yet, though. Eventually we're going to have to draft some unless we get really lucky with some of the current FAs.

why do you think Bright is going to be better than proctor? oh, you hate proctor and Bright is the grass on the otherside so its greener
I agree that tepper may beat out young. but tepper could also land in the PS.
