a guy who knows how to run ****, draft, make trades, scout, and develop a philosophy. A guy who has a great team under him crunching numbers, stat freaks etc. making moves in FA and in the draft. Jerry as GM hasnt worked in 15 years. This isn't the same NFL anymore.

P.S. and no, putting in Stephen Jones as GM doesn't count.

Good luck with this. Not sure there is a clause in his ownership that allows us to can Jerry for 14 years of crap.

It won't happen until Jerry retires as owner and hands the team over to Stephen.

we also need to find some depth so that if ancient Flo gets hurt during the biggest game of the year we are not left with using our right tackle on the left side. We also need to find OLinemen that FINISH blocks instead of whiffing on them and turning around and watching the play. What an absolute embrassing game for the OLine, they should spend the rest of the night apologizing for not having the guts to show up and play today....

What?

The General Manager had nothing to do with this loss at all.

The Cowboys got their butts kicked and the other team wanted it more.

This loss is not on Jerry Jones and anyone who thinks that probably has an agenda.

Go back and look at the posts from the other day...this was talked about already and you are stuck with thinking that he sucks when he actually doesn't. He's made some great moves. JJ doesn't call the plays.

Um, what are you talking about?

We have a great front office in place.

Jerry is GM in title, but his son, Tim Cisfkdsfdsajfski, and several other people have input too.

They've been doing a good job of finding talent, that's not the problem.

*cue some genius bringing up the RW trade*

Wasn't it just yesterday we were all giving praise to Jerry and Wade. People here are so predictable.

I disagree somewhat on it not being the GM's fault. He's responsible for bringing in players. The Oline has been ignored for too long.

So it was Jerry Jones' fault that Flozell Adams got hurt?

Yes, Marc Columbo was being dominated on the otherside, but Flozell Adams going down, was huge.

Jerry Jones had nothing to do with this loss.

This is on Jason Garrett and the Offensive Line.

Do we get absolutely OWNED if someone like Norv Turner is the Play Caller?

I don't think we do, I think Norv Turner or another strong Play Caller makes adjustments.

I didn't say that. I said he should have better backups. Proctor, McQ and Holland should have been gone and better players brought in.

Yeah, we really should blow this whole thing up. Nothing to build on here, folks. Maybe Cleveland will take all our players and coaches for a couple mid-round picks?

Geez, typical over reaction. So we got outlcassed by the second best team in the conference, and the whole thing needs dismantling? Sorry, not buying it.

I think some of our weaknesses were exposed today, but you can only be so prepared for injuries when you lose a multiple-time Pro Bowl left tackle.

Yeager, how many teams have back ups that can come right in and play at a high level?

Asking Doug Free to come in and handle a premeire pass rusher like Jared Allen is really asking a lot.

Besides, the starters, such as Kyle Kosier and Marc Columbo were almost as bad as Doug Free was.

This loss is not on Jerry Jones, he did a good job this year putting a competitive team on the field.

Let's see, we go 11-5 with a franchise QB that was developed thru the organization, a franchise WR developed thru the organization, a franchise TE developed thru the organization, a possible franchise RB (Felix) developed thru the organization, not to mention a franchise OLB, NT, and CB...all developed thru the organization.

Then we beat a team that has been very tough to beat...who went 11-5 and was the rave of all of the pundits going into the playoffs...we beat them not once, not twice, but three times this season.

Then we get killed by a team that went 12-4 on the season, that may be the most talented overall team in football, and a team that went undefeated at home.

And we need a new GM?

I think we need a new kicker.

I think we need to take a look at our OT's not named Doug Free.

I think we need a playmaker at Safety.

I think we need to look at our center.

But, GM is that last thing I'm worried about right now.

We'll agree to disagree. We should have found a replacement for Flozell by now. Even if he's playing at a different position. Free isn't the answer.
