Many on this board are over the top emotional "fans." From "he sucks" to "WAY TO GO!" in one play. I watch the game threads and laugh through most of it because of these very kinds of posts. But, if one takes an honest look at what we've got going this year, you cannot dispute certain things:

Our QB play is inconsistent. Dak is a warrior (don't know how many times I've said this.). Please notice I didn't say QB play is bad or, that it sucks, or that it's even repairable ... just that it's inconsistent. The fact is, if he could reduce his miscues and errant throws, the last few games would not have been close. His own actions are making the game much more difficult than it has to be. Trust me, he knows this. Perhaps it'll come in the next few seasons. Perhaps not.

The two INT's were on him. The first because he didn't pick up the safety zone read. The second one was just a bad throw - along with the wide open Gallup miss. The fumble was on Looney's bad snap - not Dak.

I am in no way advocating replacing our QB - just knowledgeable that we have a very narrow window for the "magic" to happen. The cap and free agency will tear us apart very shortly. The guys are laying it out right now with everyone putting it all on the field. The road is just going to get harder going forward - it shouldn't be harder than it has to be.

One thing is for sure, if Dak could keep from killing himself with ball security and missed receivers, providing the rest of the team continues at this effort level - what you're seeing here is the thing Superbowl contenders are made of.
