but Jerry wouldn't have the balls to do it.

Jerrry calls Tony Romo and promises him the starting job right now and for as long as he wants to play.

Tony has hinted several times that he wants to come back. If Jerry sweetened the deal enough, Tony would come back. Tony would come in and immediately be a huge upgrade at QB even being rusty the first few weeks. Sadly, it's clear that Dak will never be a good QB in this league. The rest of the league has figured him out already. Load the box to stop Zeke and force Dak to beat you with his arm. He simply can't do it.

Jerry traded a first round pick for Amari to try to save the season. If he really wants to save it all it's going to take is a phone call to #9.

Tony! Tony!
You could be ready to play in December! You excel in Decembers, don't you?

Maybe Jerry could send Dak to CBS?

Thanks for the comments fellow Cowboys fans. I offered this up because this is the only scenario I could think of to try to save the season. Of course the risk would be that Tony gets injured again. I just think the huge upside is worth the risk.

By the way, the fans here that think Tony is done are dead wrong. He wants to come back. Anyone that's heard him when questioned about it can hear his desire to come out of retirement. Wouldn't Tony be the perfect bridge to a new QB that's drafted or signed next year? All he wants is an opportunity and he would love one more shot with the Boyz. The Boyz have the talent to win now. Why wait for a new QB to develop?

If any can think of a better quick fix then I would love to hear it.

"if it ain't broke don't mess with it". Jason Garrett 101

The quick fix is Jason, Scott and Rod all get fired after the Philly game and Dak gets benched for a journeyman QB who is as yet unsigned.

Linehan is the biggest problem by far. I wouldn't bail on Dak until he has a decent OC who uses what he can do.

Quick fix: Anyone but Linehan calls the offense.

As for dumping Rod, I don't see why. Isn't Richard calling the games now?

For the rest of the year, Rod HC, Moore OC. It would jolly me no end to have the water boy outlast Garrett and Linehan. We would be better instantly.

I'd rather offer Romo a job he may actually be interested in, which is John Elway like role.

20 years ago I wondered what the quick fix would be to get us back there. Maybe we should ask Jerry.
