Here's to the ledge jumpers!

He played like a below average QB against a horrible defense.

well the game and the stats show that you are wrong, we understand you will only be satisfied if romo were playing

Bledsoe could have thrown for 300 and 3 TDs you would be saying "its only the Texans" Be honest was there anything Bledsoe could have done today you wouldnt have tried to minimize?

You need to go back and watch that play again. TO had to turn around and make a spectacular play on the ball.

I have seen the play, where should the ball have been thrown? throw in front of TO where the defender is as well as the out of bounds?

thrown behind his right shouler where the other defender was? or behind his left shoulder where he made the catch for the TD?

The problem is that he didn't look like an all-star. Don't you get it? The freaking Texans made Mark Brunell a record-holder. Mark freaking Brunell! Bledsoe comes out and looks like absolute junk in the first half and the defense/running game bails him out in the 2nd half. Like I said, a below-average QB against a horrible defense would typically come out with the stats Bledsoe had.

Say what you will but something is still not right with Bledose. He is making bad decisions and he looks even slower then he did last year. At this point the O Line could build a brick wall in front of Bledsoe and the d line could still get to him.

How many halves are in a game?

One in your feed.......;)

They have the worse D in the league combined with the one of the worse offenses.

Bledsoe had many more opportunities to make more plays, he just didn't get it done. Throwing the ball 10 yards over Glenn's head, remember when he had Witten AND TO wide open, flat out missed Witten in the endzone by himself.

He was average at best, the game is alot more than a boxscore.

We beat the Texans. When Dallas puts in a solid effort against the Giants and follows it up the this post will hold more merit.
To you and all the others making this point: correct. It doesn't mean much to club the Texans and we do need wins against good teams soon. This next game against NYG is huge and clubbing the Texans won't mean a thing next week. All of that is granted.

This game is not evidence that we are good -- it is evidence that we are not bad and may yet be quite good.

Dude, this ain't fantasy football. I started him today, got good stats, but in real life, he was quite ordinary.

Football goes well beyond the boxscore. Heck, the offensive line doesn't exist in the boxscore.

My Gawd, the ledge jumping Gnashers and Wailers are funny. I mean, they're annoying as well, but as a phenomenon they can be pretty hysterical. We've got a thread called something like "I never thought we'd be this bad" on a day when we WON BY 27 POINTS. Do other teams' boards do this -- have hundreds and hundreds of negative posts on DAYS THE TEAM WINS?

Thanks for the entertainment, guys. Now back to your Gnashing and Wailing -- I'm sure there's something to complain heartily about.

34-6 = 27 points...well at least the gnashers can do math.:lmao2:

I think Bledsoe's the kind of QB who can look ugly playing well (or "decent" or "not bad"). He was an ugly but good bus driver today.

Only a freaking homer would even think about arguing against this post. Nice job.
Mark freaking Brunell. gotta love that.

So thats what its all about? Looking like an all star? Here I thought it was about playing well and winning games.

Yes we all know Brunell dink and dunked 22 passes, finished with 260 yards and 1 TD

Yes the running game bailed him out LOL. His 2 TD passes had nothing to do with it, His 1st down pass on 3rd and 5 on the TD drive nothing to do with it, 17 yard pass on 4th down that put us at the 15 yard line nothing to do with it, all the running game yup

Yes you have tried to minimize the win as much as possible I know

I already said he made some bad throws, and didnt say he played great so by your post are you agreeing with me?

He played well and we won thats what matters. He made some plays we kiled the Texans, yet here some are trying to say he sucked today when he didnt all because they want romo to play.

This is true. He played "decent" against a horrible team, but really looked ugly throughout the first half and at times during the 2nd. His body movement when pressure is coming just looks like a new-born colt.

Up to this point, I have only heard you say he played well, like you say in the following next post:

We won the game, that is good.

If they can make Brunell look good, that should tell you something.

We won in spite of Bledsoe, not because of Bledsoe.

It must be a drag to live a life where no matter what the outcome of a game is you can't just sit back for a few minutes and savor the win.

Nothing wrong with talking about problems, but sometimes people just seem to go beyond that.

They complain early in the game like the game is over and than get mad at people when they point out the game is 60 minutes and we won.

Whether we play well next week or not...take a deep breath, be thankful for a win and for once actually enjoy the victory instead already complaining again.

Geez people.

I actually think there are a few people that would be happy if we did lose so they could complain more or pull a I told you so post.
