Here's to the ledge jumpers!

Yeah, I love when people use stats as their argument. Did you not watch the game? He looked old, slow and rusty.

what else is new?

I think most people expected Bledsoe to bounce back with a semi decent game against a crap team.

Its a trend with the guy. I'm more concerned if the can beat the Phillys and Chicagos of the world when the playoffs roll around. I'm not convinced he can.

He looked pretty pedestrian against a terrible team today IMO.

Before you go getting so cocky over whipping the TExans, I'd look at the first half again....then I'd wait till next week against the Giants in NY before getting too uppity.
Somewhere in my original post you determined there was a prediction of victory against the Giants I take it. Please reread it. My post pertains specifically to today's game only. I agree with the general mood that if we play like we did in the first half against the NYG, we will lose. Fortunately for those of us in the real world, distinctions can be made that fall somewhere in between "we suck!" and ""we rule!". It doesn't have to be one or the other.

I'd rather have him play decently against a bad team than play badly. "Good" is always better than "bad" in my book.

Wrong...

when someone says HE looks good in a dress...that is bad thing

but when someone says "my bad" and owns up for a fault that is a good thing..

so now where were we... oh yeah... Bledsoe wears a dress..upps my bad:p:

I meant even a dead man should have been able to put up the numbers Bledsoe did against the Texans...with TO, Glenn, Witten at receiver and Jones and Barber running the ball...

sheesh .... really... only a complete and utter moron would think that this was some kind of a statement game for Bledsoe :bang2:

I think Bledsoe can take us only as far as he's protected... That's ok as long as he will just not make too many mistakes. And too many fumbles. He's plain careless with the ball ...

That's my main concern with this team. He had 3 int's against Jax and Philly. He can't avoid any pressure and holds the ball way too long.

While it's good to see us win the games we should, and by large margins, we don't have many more of those left. I think we can only go so far with Drew, and that's not to say I think Romo is the answer. I just don't think we have a QB who can lead us deep into the playoffs, if we even get there.

Agreed. Its easy for a good team to gameplan against us. Until we establish(from QB position) that we have a play or two to get rid of ball quickly(when a blitz is a brewin) then we are in trouble.

Well we agree so we must be right.:)

I don't think we are rocket scientists though (no offense). This is pretty much common sense and general knowledge about Drew.

But at least we are reality based and understand our limitations. I just wish we had a great QB. Aikman threw INTs and got sacked. But he made less mistakes and didn't FUMBLE so much. But he did have a better OL to be fair.

We can make some noise. We need turnovers, pass pressure, less mistakes and we can be in the hunt. Heres hoping.

Boy Wayne I admit I'm scared to death of the Giants. We could take a serious punking.

I also approve of the word "uppity". :)

You are smart to fear them. And that's not bun kissing either.

They are good, always play us well even here, and Tiki Barber haunts me. I don't know what I did to him but he's gotten me back. Someone call him off.

I thought Bledsoe played decently.

You are on a roll today. The D gets more credit than him and he still threw some questionable passes today that his WRs helped him with. It still was the Texans too.

I'm really starting to wonder if Bledsoe has a post-concussive syndrome.

Its up to the playcaller to call plays that can beat the blitz ( which seemed obvious that was going on against the Texans ) and if they dont do that then you can expect the offensive line to be overwhelmed.

Long routes + 7 / 8 man blitzes = disaster just about all the time. Couple that with road games where the line seems like they have brain slugs on them ( Futurama reference :) ) and its even worse.

I may be new to this site, but I think I'm about done.. this site is like a harbor for the worst NFL fans ever. Unbelievable how much crap is posted on here. All you experts calling for Romo and booing Bledsoe need to find another team to boo.

Beware of the pseudo-righteous board critic who self-aggrandizes by adorning his replies with his successful pick percentages.
