Jeanty would be a godsend for this offense. Sign me up!

At HC, I want Belichick...and I want to see him bring in two options as chosen successors at DC and OC. I don't think X's and O's have passed him by. He's one of the best defensive minds in the world, and I believe he can turn the ship around on that side of the ball with the current talent on the team.

That's not why I want him though. We need a massive culture shift. Parcells did it after the turn of the century, and the team has been relatively successful since he left. Jerral's ego got in the way, and Bill wasn't able to finish the job. If we allow his greatest student to put his hands on this organization, build personnel the right way, and shift the culture away from "flash with no substance", and into "gritty, hard work, and accountability", and then pass the torch to his chosen guy, we could see the beginnings of long term, high end success. The beginning of a dynasty. It makes too much sense. Jerry would be an IDIOT to not make this happen.

I'd be fine with Belichick, but we need someone who also loves toughness and physicality. Someone like Vrabel.

Isnt Jeanty a manlet? 5'9 210?
Stats are amazing.... but I don't know. This OL is so bad.

Well, the oline might be easier to adjust with a coach that has a better blocking scheme, no? Plus, part of the problem is Steele. Guyton's natural position is RT. Maybe the smart move is to try a different blocking scheme and move Guyton to LT, Tyler to LT, and go from there.

I agree. Vrabel would be my #1 choice as successor. Offer him the DC/Asst HC position and give him a blank check. It's a bit of a longshot, but makes alot of sense for everyone involved.

Or, if we can't get Bill, then get Vrabel as HC outright. I'd love Vrabel, Saleh, and a hard nosed physical OC that loves to run the ball.

Just some food for thought regarding the draft.

The Chargers were 5-12 last year and drafted 5th. The Giants and Titans were 6-11 and drafted 6th and 7th. 4 teams were 7-10 and drafted 8 thru 10.

I think the Cowboys are looking at a 6-11 season the way things are going. They could land them a top 10 draft pick. Drafting that high in rounds 1 and two will help them fill the talent gap that was created in the 2024 off-season.
