Here's what the Cowboys will do tomorrow night (opinion)

Just some random thoughts about our 1st round scenario(s).

1) If Cooper or Warmack are on the board at #18, which is unlikely, they hand in the card for the guard over the DT or S. (Cooper > Warmack)

2) If both guards are gone, but Sheldon Richardson and Kenny Vaccaro is on the board at #18, they hand in the card for Richardson.

3) If the guards and Richardson are gone at #18, but Kenny Vaccaro is on the board, they hand in the card for Vaccaro.

4) If the guards, Richardson AND Vaccaro are gone at #18, Jerry will be working the phones attempting to trade down and target Sylvester Williams or Eric Reid.

General feeling? The guards and Vaccaro will be gone, but Richardson somehow falls to us.

I think that may be exactly what happens, actually. I agree with the scenarios and the targets. Especially agree that we are looking at Williams and Reid in a trade down. Nobody wants to hear it, but I think the team really likes Reid.

The wildcard, to me, is Fluker. We don't know how they feel about him. We do know, however, that they're interested in upgrading RT

I think you're right on Fluker. I see a team taking him instead of a guard. Pushing them down to us.

Actually I don't agree..... I think Richardson is the first choice then the guards. I've confused myself.

I think there is a very high probability that Richardson gets drafted before #18. If he does not, then there is probably some drastic issues that we don't know about. He is too talented at a premium type position to fall to #18. A number of draft analysts think he might be better than Floyd.

...And if he does fall, there's a very high probability that the Cowboys won't draft him for precisely these reasons...

I hope they do not.

I just don't feel like Vaccaro will be anything special and i'd rather give our OL a boost than draft an average player at safety.

I think Vaccaro is going to be a very good safety--but he's not the type of safety we need.

I'm just guessing the team would like him better than Warmack because he has the measurables to along with the production and instincts.

I think he'll be a good player as well but I don't think he'll give 1st round production.

He'll have a nice pro career but I wouldn't expect him to be a difference maker.

Pretty much sums it up, Austin might be the wild cars should he slip which I doubt

I think Vacarro is very good. I think we can get a good safety through the 4th round. I think the talent is thinner in the Oline and even thinner at DL

That is why my ranking is

1. Richardson
2. Cooper
3. Warmack
4. Trade Down you've got alot of targets that fit what we need.
5. S Williams
6. Vacarro

Of course they do.

They put way to much value in tackling from safeties than guys that have some range and erase some mistakes.

This all seems about right. I was talking to one of the guys in my shop (who is a panthers fan) and he's hearing the Panthers really like Richardson.

Yes it sucks but have heard the same and have seen him mocked to them in a multitude of mock drafts.

I live in NC and my best friend is a huge Panthers fan and he says they have Austin/Vacarro at the top.

It's the draft though and nobody really knows right now, just relaying info.
