Here's When We'll Really Know about T.O.

The moment of truth comes when TO starts drawing double teams, and the ball goes to Glenn and Witten or the running game. If the offense is working and the team is winning, but TO isn't getting the ball, how he responds will tell us everything!

Yeah but we also do have to get him the ball at least 5 times a game hes an explosive player that can take it to the house on any given play.

T.O. will get open if he is healthy ...... double teams do not stop players like him.

I hadn't considered that before nor have I ever seen the idea discussed. Thanks for creating a new thread to discuss this idea as it surely would have gone unnoticed in one of the 4 TO threads on the front page.

This post really sums it up because I believe that this scenario will play itself out very early in the season. The offense will be on a roll with everyone freed up because the opposing D will focus on TO. The O line is improved, but will look even better because TO is that much of a threat. So Bledsoe will have some time and he is deadly when he does. Glenn, Witten, JuJo, MBIII and maybe even Fasano will be freed up to make plays and they will. The defense will dominate, making special teams less of a factor than it was last year, but the kicking game will be improved with a healthy Vandy. All of this spells winning for the Dallas Cowboys.

TO will not just be a decoy, but he won't be the only focal point of this offense either. He will get some catches and some scores, but will that be enough?

I hear ya... I would hope that its all about a Championship now that he has established himself as a great WR and he has his $$$.

If he keeps his head about him... we could make THREE serious runs at SB...

Its in EVERYONE's best interests (except maybe the opponent's) to get TO as many touches as possible per game.

Wrong. You'll know when T.O. isn't getting the ball and the team is losing. He believes that if things aren't going well you should just throw him the ball more. He's more comfortable criticizing teammates when they aren't playing well.

Like teams haven't been double and triple teaming him in recent years? If he's open, he'll expect the ball and call for it...at least he should.

We'll really know something about T.O. around the time that he is beating the tar out of Rashean Mathis

Just like in Philly, the first signs were in the Pittsburgh game when the Eagles were getting waxed and TO's dance move was emmulated by the Steelers.
