Here's why the Eagles are better off without A.J. Brown

Last year's defense was hot garbage without Micah. With him it would have been tepid garbage.
Yeah people don’t remember but the defense sucked with Micah lol. And was gonna suck with him too. Wish they would’ve traded for Quinnen and drafted Downs with Micah but probably not.

Jeez. His separation on those go routes should have been gravy for any starting calibre QB.
Every QB has misses, especially when they are getting hit or under pressure. He's got a better QB in New England, but if someone wants to put together a clip of all the missed connections, they'll have the chance.

True, but more than a bit moot when the entire thread is literally about how bad a fit the Brown and Eagles (and therefore Brown and Hurts) relationship was.

Because, like you say yourself, he’s now with a better QB; one who doesn’t tend to make as many misses on deep passes.

A) possibly what TN was so willing to give him up
B) imagine his stats in Philly had Hurtz was a good QB.

The Eagles are not better off without him. The Cowboys are better off he's not on the Eagles. I understand what he was trying to do. He's trying to get the best out of his teammates.

The Eagles will benefit from losing his attitude. They will not benefit from losing his talent, unless Lemon quickly proves to be a receiver who can put up All-Pro efforts even with the QB like Hurts. He's been a three-time All-Pro with that same QB who missed on those passes.

Of course, that's why the Patriots were willing to give up a first-round pick for him even though he didn't play at that level this last season. And the Eagles were willing to give him up because he didn't play at that level and because of the locker room issues (which is why they were able to get him in the first place, much like us with Pickens).
