I hadn't seen this but I guess they released some stills from Hernandez's home security camera as he's walking through his house.

Grainy as all hell but not going to help him.

Also, the other day Belichick finally addressed it, "As the head coach of the team, I'm primarily responsible for the people that we bring into the football operation".

Pretty crazy he actually killed that guy. I still can't believe he would throw away everything like that. Easily one of the dumbest human beings on the planet.

This is a guy that loves the gang culture thats portrayed in movies and on TV in this country and will get a chance to live it out now assuming he's found guilty. It looks like he might have to plead guilty up front to avoid the death penalty if everything is what it appears to be. He makes it hard to give him the benefit of the doubt.

The arrogance and frankly stupidity of BB is shown clearly here in this case. There were warning flags about Hernandez going back years. And the clear fact he had not left any of it behind makes that extension last year look even more arrogant and stupid.

The evidence against him is so incriminating that it borders on ridiculous.

Everyone on the planet knows he's guilty; his facial expressions throughout this ordeal tell the whole story.

There is no shortage of NFL players with similar - if not far worse - warning flags playing on every single team in the league. Belichick must be doing something right when you consider he has 5 conference championships and 3 Super Bowl championships in New England. I wish the people running the Cowboys had displayed that much "stupidity" over the past decade or so.

I think he thought he would get away with it and was genuinely surprised when he didn't. After all, he got away with killing those 2 guys last year until this 3rd homicide led the authorities to connect him with those 2 guys.

Pretty sure the third killing was because of the other 2. He was going to go down anyways.

True. I was tryin to be polite But they have gotten this pretty image from the press despite the cheatin and they sold out tryin to get back to the SB by ignorin character flaws. I don't care that they drafted him because as long as idiots are skated through college the pros will draft em. But the nerve of that ******* Kraft to try to tell people they were "duped" or tricked or didn't know what they were dealin with is hogwash. They shoulda just owned it and said "Hey we gambled just like other teams and it went bad wrong" It's a damn joke that they want me to think this kid outta college tricked a billionaire owner and a coach that's spent the better part of his life around football players. But don't get me started on that.

Hey he just traded for Aqib Talib last season... Who if you remember reportedly opened fire on his sisters Bf at a family gathering. When the poor guy ran, the mom grabbed the gun from Aqib and started firing as well.

Maybe but simple fact of the matter is that he got away with the first 2 killings for about a year, and if he was going to go down on that one it was only because one of the accomplices threatened to squeal. So it's easy to understand how a guy who already killed 2 people and had gotten away with it so far could easily think he would be able to get away with offing a 3rd.

Really? So what part of his college record suggests that they should have anticipated that this guy was going to be committing 3 murders?

maybe you ought to do a little research before you post. Hernandez had LOTS of bad stuff that pointed EXACTLY in that direction. You his agent or something?

This guy wins the lifetime achievement award for stupidity... It's so much stuff coming out about this dude related to this that I finally gave up trying to keep up with it all.

Obviously no one expects a player to execute someone during the off season. But Kraft tries to say he was duped and Hernandez knew how to push his buttons by writing the team a letter and offering to give money back if he failed a drug test.

All I'm sayin is they do the same thing every other team does. They gambled that any baggage he brought with him would be worth the trouble if he helped them win. They should just say that instead of offering some stupid letter this kid wrote. If anything the letter is proof that they did know he could be a problem down the road.

Oh yeah? Like what? What exactly did Hernandez do in college that is so radically different from things we've seen from dozens of other college athletes do that could lead someone to believe he was headed down the path to committing homicide? Hopefully you're not being ridiculous enough to suggest that because he got into a college bar fight and smoked some weed, we all should have anticipated he would commit 3 homicides as an adult.

Maybe you ought to support your point instead of telling someone who disagrees with you to "do a little research." Put up or shut up.

There were many reports during college that Hernandez fraternized with known gang members and may have been in one himself.

That being said, you still wouldn't assume he would commit murders, but he's a special kind of stupid.

Wasn't he potentially implicated in a shooting that happened in FLA (an altercation over someone pulling a necklace off of a Florida player and then one of his friends returned it and apologized, only to be found later, shot multiple times in the parking lot?)

you are the one with so many posts defending Hernandez. Look in the mirror to wonder why that is questioned.

And you really are blind to all that was going on with Hernandez back in florida- it has been reported all over the place.

Like I said, you sound like Hernandez's agent. you are ignoring all the gangster type behavior and who he was spending so much time with and acting like. You really do not know what gangster activity means anymore? Have to laugh at your claims he was only smoking weed and doing little else.

I haven't defended Hernandez, I have defended the Patriots against criticism that they should have anticipated that Hernandez was a murderer.

Then why are you having so much trouble providing specific incidents and references to support your statements?

What did he do in college that is so egregiously different from what we have seen from dozens of other college athletes? If you fail to give any further details, then you're admitting you have nothing beyond a bar fight and smoking some weed. A bunch of LSU guys got into a bar fight last year. Are they all future murderers too?

Put up or shut up.

Burm had 3 red balls come out of his Minority Report machine with Hernandez's name on it.
