Heroes is getting beat out in ratings by reruns and Icarly on Nick. I think it's about time to let that one die.

It's a horrible show filled with a great cast that just makes you want so much more from it, but it never ever gives you anything good.

Damn Heroes =(

Great first year. Since then it has just been varied flavors of train wreck.

It's a great idea for a show, but they just point you in too many directions at once. Pick a story line and stay with it. Don't have 15 different subplots off the same story. JMO

I'm almost done watching the first season on Netflix.

I love the show but saddened to hear that it goes sharply downhill after season 1. Are there any redeeming features to it after the first season?

I still like the show but it really seems to wind up being too soap operaish in with the plot lines.

How many times are we going to have Siler (sp?) attempt and seem to turn good.

How many times did we go through the end of the world scenario before they played that one out.

How many times did we have Noah being the good guy, bad guy, the company good, the company bad, the is going to be truthful to his daughter and then lie again.

So...it is like they had so many episodes in mind, had an ending to it...only for the ratings to do really well so they just started extending it and rehashing stuff. Again I still like the show just because it seems I am invested in it as a viewer but it does get annoying.

I bring up that so many episodes and already have an ending idea that kind of goes with the LOST show/thread. I have read that they originally only had so many seasons planned with the start and end played out but when the ratings turned out so well they were asked to extend the series so they started adding stuff and delving more into characters pasts. Originally Hurley's character was nothing but a side guy but people liked him so they created a whole back story for him that was not there originally...now whether all of that is true or not I don't know but just goes to show how sometimes the original intent gets stretched for the ratings and dollars.

Fixed it for you. It's the reason the show would never have worked long term with the same cast of characters and the same reason even cartoon shows based on comics don't last either.

I wish there was a time restriction for how many seasons this type of shows last. Heroes, Lost, etc...

I like the shows but they always seem to start getting desperate and lose focus after a couple of seasons.

The show was consistent and plot-hole-less for about 4 episodes of Season 1. Then it started unraveling completely.

The Storyline/Characters become so inconsistent by the end of season 1 that it is just ridiculous. The ONLY thing that kept that show going is the cast. They have a really good cast of actors who really do a good job. Everything else about the show is fail.

Hmm, finally an episode that actually moves the plot forward, and into new territory and it could be the show's last? Figures.
