If your team comes out flat in this game against the giants with everything on the line, and you get dominated by the giants..should Jerry change the HC n staff n players who u consider as the heart n soul of the team or stay the course? The reason I ask is no matter the coach or staff or players same crap happens every year,as a skin fan I know the feeling!!

Yes we need to get better players especially on defense and the offensive line.

Simple, but it says it.:)

Yes i have had my fill mediocrity out this team.

An NFL team that fires a head coach every 2 years is never going to be a Super Bowl contender. You need some sort of continuity.

No, what Jerry should do is replace the GM and let the new GM make those decisions.

The correct answer.

But since that won't happen, we're not supposed to think like that. What's wrong with you?

Yep, but that aint happenin. If it goes real bad next week end I bet Fisher gets revisited.

You have to give a HC 3 years to see if he has anything.

We do need to upgrade the roster. We have stars but we have far too many below average starters. The OL and secondary is full of them.

It's a shame owners can't be fired for bad football teams they put together as owner n GM,I still believe if your HC doesn't have final say you will not win,if the players can go over the coaches head and get results, you will not win!!!

In this case , If you want the GM to step down,or take notice and your not happy with the team, let him know.

Stop going to the games.

As long as he owns the team and is making the $$$, he probably could care less about what you think of him as GM.

we began the upgrade this year by ridding our team of old, lazy Oline--next we upgrade the Dline and add a corner and safety. We are moving in the right direction and anyone who thinks that Garret is not calling the shots (as many as any other winning head coach) is delusional and listening to ESPN. If we beat NY and make the playoffs, this is a wildly successful year.

What's funny is for all those calling for a new GM they assume that the "new" GM will make such a big difference. How long are we supposed to wait till the new GM gets us to a Superbowl, because we all know that is the only thing holding us back.

You won't get an answer that makes any sense. I've asked this 2 dozen times minimum.

I never knew Athletic Directors and GMs win football games. I thought it was the GMs job to manage the salary cap and hire the head coach and then make money.

Apparently he's supposed to have voodoo dolls and witch doctors to ward away evil spirits and all kinds of stuff.

Yep. That is my rule as well. Unless you are epically bad ( like two 12+ loss seasons for example). It takes a lot for me to abandon that rule.

Heck I even gave Campo 3 years.

I don't want to fire the HC yet. I do want to replace the OC.

No, I would not fire Garrett. I may bring in some new coaches under him but it's the players I would look to start replacing. There is a core group still here that quit on Parcells and quit on Phillips. At some point you have to realize that the lockeroom is full of quitters and losers just collecting large checks. If they come out flat again with the season on the line, it's time for about a 50% turnover in players. I think Garrett is the right coach for the team, but he has to be given enough time to make the team his and to learn from his coaching mistakes. He is still coaching a bunch of losers drafted by previous regimes. If he is given the time to develop his own team and his coaching skills, he could be your coach for two decades. I'd give him every chance to become that.

The funny part is that he is a really good OC, IMO.

I do agree that no HC should be his own coordinator - it is too big of a job for any one person. The trouble is Garrett wants to keep his own offense and it may be hard to attract an OC under those terms. I actually agree with Garrett in that sense - you should not change the offense on Romo at this stage. Minor tweaks are okay but not wholesale changes.

Yes replace some on the O-Line like Free if he just let's defenders have a free rush at the QB and the same goes for any others on the O-Line that constantly let's the defender they are suppose to block have shots at Romo.

Everybody in the Secondary gone if they can't do their job and cover, at this point unless some major improvement is shown the only ones in the Secondary I won't mind staying are Jenkins and Elam
