As I was websurfing this morning, looking for more info on the UTEP-Tulsa game I'd just watched on ESPN, I came across an article on the El Paso Times website that told me that another website, TotalBeauty.com, had ranked the men of El Paso, Texas as the ugliest in America... number 2 was Hagerstown, Maryland...

This hurt me, more than you can ever know; I graduated from North Hagerstown High School, then went down to college at the University of Texas at El Paso...

I can only assume that things went to hell in both places after I left... hey, it was nearly 40 years ago... or maybe I was the only good-looking guy to ever live in either place... yeah, that's the ticket...

I was stationed in El paso for 5+ years.

A bunch of websites posted this story, including www.totalbeauty.com.

They have space for responses, and one woman from El Paso posted this ....

Also, we just got a big military population here, most of them fit and satisfactory to look and to bed.

I'm not married because I had lousy taste in women, and after two flameouts, got gunshy... LOL...

But yeah, I agree that there was a fairly high percentage of fine-looking women down in El Paso back in the day... of course, I've always been a sucker for a brown-eyed, black-haired honey with a sense of mischief...

And there's the problem-- I've just described my second ex-fiancee...
