I'm sitting here waiting for the start myself. I want to say that Big Brown's going to win it, but starting on the outside will hurt him, imo. He's going to blast out of the gate, though.

Yeah, but from the 20 hole I can't go there. I think Pyro has the best chance along with Colonel John.

I decided to back a 20-1 longshot.

BTW, I will be on the phone with my Mom as I am for every Triple Crown Race for the last 10 years. I love the Derby. The best article I ever read is posted on this site about Secretariat. If you love horse racing, you should read it.

Big Brown is running from the 20 slot I believe. I don't think he will win. I think someone running in posts 5 to 10 will win. 20 horses is an awful lot to overcome. I hope they all have a good trip and all horses and jockeys arrive safely. I don't want to see anymore horses hurt again.
