After week #1, we have the 30th ranked defense.

Seriously though, it was week 1 with a new coordinator in a new scheme, missing 2 key starters along the DL.

I know what you are saying, but points allowed is a major concern to me. Especially considering we did not capitalize on those turnovers like we should have. I hope and think that we will get our offense clicking, moving forward.

If we let up 500 yards every week, its a good thing you could care less.. because even with those 6 TO's, they almost came back to beat us.

We got good pressure, we stopped the run. Sure we blew some coverages, and by the forth quarter we were flat out of gas, those two things are fixable.

Now if we can get the offense to score more than 3 pts off three turnovers, and not to throw 5 yd passes on third and 7, we'll be fine.

This entire season is probably "too early", Kiffin and company will need to replace a few more players and the team will need experience within it before it can become a top 10 D. We will be lucky if they become a top 20 defense this year, and that's okay,,,, it's a process.
