Carpenter and Als,,, I didn't notice a huge drop off in the running game or pass rush.. the front 3 really picked up the pace today and ware played like a man possessed.... but overall, I think Carp and Als,, had a pretty effective day.

I believe Al blew up that very first run(play) for the Colts. Kind of set the tone of the day for the defense.

First, I do not claim to know how he played. It seemed like he played a pretty solid game. I did noptice that on a few plays that were runs wide that he seemed to be there, but couldn't get off a block to make the tackle. Again, not sure, but thought he played a pretty good game?

Yeah. I wasn't paying too much attention to him(carpenter) either today. I know he was big on one play. I believe he flushed Manning from the pocket and caused a crucial incomplete pass. I'll be interested to see what others saw from him today.

Al played well and Burnett was manly.

I was surprised to see him block that Tackle back into Manning. That tackle was HUGE compared to him.

Fowler is doing great on ST as well.

there was one play that carp kinda impressed me on.. it was run to his side, he got tied up with a blocker and the back got the corner.. but carp still run him down from behind.. the kid looks to be pretty quick.

Singleton was solid. Carp was, well, you only notice him at times because of his stupid hair.

Stupid hair ? You do know he wears it that way to pay homage to Pat Tillman.

Carp was mediocre at best. Got sucked inside on at least two plays and lost containment.

Still doesn't look good to me.

For what it's worth, Als and Carp were both credited with one tackle each.

Carp has a glaring weakness, that can be cured , he's soft at the point of attack. You can shove him off with a TE or even a FB.
