If you don't mind me asking, what company is this?

It could be: A. They don't know they are purchasing knock-offs(unlikely) or B.They know they are selling illegal merchandise(b/c if didn't come from Reebok/Dallas Cowboys) and that is illegal.

I don't even know the name of the store. It was when we were in Charlotte NC where we saw the store. We stopped in to browse and saw the jerseys there.

Ahh, we have some stores in Atlanta that knowingly sell fakes, and they usually "close down" after a year or so. Most people are smart enough to know they are fake jerseys, but we still have people return stuff in my store citing the great "authentic" they just bought for 50 bucks at another store. Idiots lol

OK. SO who gets in trouble? The small business owner who is selling them in his retail shop or the place he buys them from? Or both?

The place he buys them from is going to be in deeper doo-doo but honestly, why bother with this? This seems like too much energy/care being spent on some little store.

lol, downtown/midtown Atlanta street merchants. Wherever there's a Marta station, you can be sure there are some fake handbags or cds on a table for sale!
