Best game he has had in a long time. He was rarely inaccurate, he was poised, and he played well.

I can't blame the defense on playing poorly (I don't think they did anyway) as much as I can compliment Manning for stepping up.

He always plays that way against us.

Yep...and they lost anyway...

That kinda shows the difference in the teams...

What a turn around with Romo at QB.

its the first time he's looked anything but mediocre or bad in probably 5 or 6 weeks

and it happened because we played crappy defense today...you dont touch QB's in this league and it will come back to bite you in the arse...we were fortunate to escape with the W today

Of course he stepped up his game.... he was playing the Cowboys and they were desperate for a win. Is there anybody that thought that Eli and the Giants weren't going to step it up. They play their best football against us.

Actually I was thinking the same thing. It went all the way back to his rookie year when he drove down the field and beat us in NY. Well, it was good to see us step up and win despite his excellent play.

I was very surprised at our lack of a pass rush today. Manning had all day in the pocket on most plays. I thought we'd beat up N.Y.'s o-line, but it didn't happen.

ok David, we get it. Why do you have to crap on every thread? We know you didn't take your medication today, and we know you hate Zimmer. Ok? Now please quietly go away and crap somewhere else.

I thought both teams played well and the Giants needed to know that more than the Boys at this point. What Eli needed was to pick up his play and I think when he watchs the game film he will see that he had a very good game.

Yep, Manning played very well today. Which in a way makes the win sweeter.

We didn't play our best and STILL won.

Manning just dinked and dunked all day. His only completions longer than 19 yards were dumpoffs to running backs who managed to run for some yards, and the Giants' starting wide receivers didn't have a single catch longer than 11 yards.

You got a point there. I think it shows just how scared we were of the deep pass.

I agree, but he was still throwing some of those dinks and dunks into the ground in past games....this time, he actually hit the guy he was throwing to except for that throw in the dirt out in the flats.

Eli wasn't bad today,i give him credit for playing a decent
game, but that's all he is,decent.Btw,i think the Giants got hosed
on the whole Eli and Rivers deal.

he was 24/36...the last 5 or 6 game she's been barely 50%...its not like his guys were having to make circus catches either

he had all day to throw and for the most part, wide open receivers and backs to throw to...he threw a couple of bad balls but for the most part threw very well

this is true because the NYG figured out what some knew for a while now...
ShEli Manning = busdriver and nothing more

The NYG playcalled and schemed this game with keeping ShEli from losing it. It was obvious. They made sure he didn't make any of his typical, errant, idiotic throws downfield. Dink and Dunk.
What made me mad was that we couldn't figure this out and stop the RBs out of the backfield. :bang2:

he did play OK... i thought our coverage was deplorable but he played safe throwing low and such not forcing things except the ball Aaron shoudl have INTd in the endzone.

How many of those throws even went 10 yards past the line of scrimmage?

again

the difference was that Eli was getting rid of the ball quickly, side-stepping rushers, and rolling out when the pressure was coming, plus their Oline were stone-walling our defenders

and ADam's stats bring up a good point, Eli gets into trouble forcing deep throws, dink and dunking made him more effective today

our D deserves blame too, but Eli played safe today and recognized where the pressure was coming from and maneuvered away from it
