im still a diehard but i lost all my faith in this parcells era. good teams beat good opponents on the road. we haven't done so in a long time. we were overhyped, our safeties get burned, our qb has as many completions to cornerbacks as wr's, mb and jj cant pick up an obvious blitz, parcells doesnt adjust the blitz by having the "statue" adible to a shotgun. a pee wee coach could have figured that out. use rollouts extra blockers something!! where was the 5yd inside slant to beat the blitz. adjust man!!! they were literally laughing at us yesterday. tuna, use the halftime for going over what you can change to beat the eagles instead of feeding bledsoe grapes in the hot tub....we beat bad teams to feel good but unless we beat a good team which i doubt will ever happen with parcells playing his conservative card, we will not get any better than what you see today. im tired of saying "we will work on it" or "give credit to the other team" ....why the heck is it so difficult to bench bledsoe???
im really mad because like someone posted earlier, bledsoe will put up 400yds and 5 tds against the texans and parcells will think bledsoe is chuck norris in disguise...:banghead:

What's especially hard about this is that with the loss Philthy has created an atmosphere here where some here want to bring in a totally inexperienced project to "drive the bus" instead of a player who once (twice?) led his team to a Super Bowl.

Divide and conquer, Philthy did both Sunday.

We didnt need to adjust.

The game plan was fine. The stupid turnovers and big plays given up by the defense were the reason we'd lost.

Had Campo have been here we wouldn't have been in the game after we got down 10-0.

The players were put in a position to make plays, they just didn't. Just like the Jacksonville game.

As far as the whole Bledsoe thing I dont know. I know a lot of you want Romo but asking a guy who has never played past August to go beat the Eagles in Philly with that Blitz attack is asking a whooooole lot.

I didn't want Romo yesterday, well maybe a little, but I want him against the Texans!

What do I have to be kidding you about?

Please explain to me why Parcells was the reason we lost. Get a clue.

24 points off turnovers, 7 sacks, Roy letting guys run right by him, and of course Pat Watkins are the reason Dallas lost.

Not your coach. The players were in a position to win. End of story.

Bledsoe is a coach killer. He'll have a bad game, a couple good ones, a horrible one, then a good one. That is going to be our season from QB play from him regardless of whether he cost us the game yesterday or not. He had a shot in the final minutes to tie it up, and made a rookie mistake that ended the game for us. It's the story of his career.

Week 16 last year in Charlotte was so long ago.

What has it been, 5 whole games? That's my definition of long time ago also !!

I thought the gameplan sucked - badly.

They go into a hostile environment against a blitzing team and go empty backfield?

Bad gameplanning

The running game is working great early on and they fail to stick with it?

Bad gameplanning.
Their line can't handle the blitz yet they don't throw a quick slant or screen to beat it?

Bad gameplanning.

They spend their second round draft choice on a blocker who isn't involved in the passing game?

Bad gameplanning.

Sending a corner to blitz while keeping "cover guys" like Brady James and Akin Ayodele back all game?

Bad gameplanning.

I thought they made one bad move after another.

Yeah, I agree the game plan was fine (though that corner blitz perplexed me).

When drawing up plays, you can't account for your quarterback throwing an awkward pass to an open Owens for a potential score or throwing an interception at the goal line when mixing up a play where the receiver apparently ran the right route.

A huge part of me says this needs to be the end of Bledsoe. Because, frankly, we know it's not going to change. He is what he is. We'll go 9-7 as he lights it up agianst teams like the Texans and struggles when it counts against the better teams.

But, we know that's not coming any time soon. So, hopefully, we'll somehow stubbornly get this thing turned around.

Even on that play Bill said that he knew the exact play they were going to run and Ellis just missed the sack.

If you get a chance to watch it on replay Ellis is right there on top of him and could've sacked him. McNabb made a play and Ellis didn't.

Also im sure a lot of you guys who want to blame Parcells for this loss yesterday were saying the same thing against Jacksonville but yet if Bledsoe doesn't turn the ball over in that game and doesn't miss a WIDE OPEN Owens several times then we win that game too.

You win the turnover battle and make plays when they are there for you to make you win the game.

You mentioned nothing about playoffs. You asked about a road win. I answered. If you don't like the answer, ask a better question or make a better point. The problem with yesterdays game was execution. The plays were there to be made and were not. Had nothing to do with game plan.

Last time I checked Parcells was the one deciding who plays and what scheme we run...most coaches probably would have benched Bledsoe during the Jacksonville game, and certainly would have benched him yesterday

defensively, we see games like this every year...its the same ol same ol...no pass rush whatsoever and give up big plays at bad times...Parcells put in the 3-4, he is also the one who decided to keep Zimmer instead of a more proven 3-4 coach

Chuck Norris? When using similes, they should be relevant.

As an aside, if you feel so strongly, why not write Parcells directly, hell maybe call him. Posting a rant on the webboard will not get Bill's attention.
