The Phoenix Suns have begun exchanging trade proposals with teams for forward Amare Stoudemire, league executives told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday. Steve Kerr apparently is determined to move Stoudemire ahead of the deadline.

“Everyone is on the table but (Steve) Nash,” one executive said.
Stoudemire is expected to opt out of his contract for the historic free-agent summer of 2010 and his relationship with the front office has reached a point where neither side wants him to be in Phoenix beyond 2010.

Great news, I hope he goes to the East.

The guy is a total head-case, but athletically he scares the poo out of me.

This is horrible news. He is an athletic neanderthal no doubt.....but his mental shortcomings and lack of effort on the defensive end have been a huge blessing for the Spurs. He is a major reason why the Spurs have been so successful against PHX since 2003. And this season, he has been nothing but a crybaby. He whines and moans about his role and this and that. Just go out there and play the damn game Amare. He is getting paid millions of bucks to play basketball, not cry a river of tears.

I will be very disappointed and saddened if this trade happens. Knowing Kerr, he will get a player or players who will give the Spurs fits.

GO SPURS GO

The proposal I keep hearing is Amar'e to the Blazers for LaMarcus Aldridge and contract fluff (i.e. Raef LaFrenz). Suns get a young player in return that is more of a perimeter PF to open the area for Shaq, and the Blazers suddenly become very scary inside.

Portland would be stupid to do this trade. Aldridge is a nice up and coming big man. He has offensive game. He is willing to play defense. He is a good lockerroom guy.

After making a good choice in picking up Amare', the Suns and fans have found out what an arrogant player he is. I used to like the guy but I want him gone ASAP. He doesn't back it up.

Hell, I dont know why Nash isn't on the table, he is the WORST defensive point guard in the league. He is 2nd in the league in turnovers per game with 3.8 too, right behind Stephen Jacksons 3.9.

Amare is at 3.0 turnovers per game. A freakin' PF who doesn't handle the ball around the perimeter SHOULD NOT average 3 turnovers per game. That is sad..

As long as we get something good out of it, I'm ok with them trading Amaré. His attitude bugs the crap out of me. I read in an article and he was saying "It's not my job to rally to whole team, it's the captains job". Mother f'er, you make 15 MILLION A YEAR. Rally the damn troops.

He's right... his job is to run off of the bench every time someone bumps into Steve Nash. :p:

Come to Chicago, Amare.

Rose, Amare and Deng would have elite potential in the East.

You do realize Amare is a major reason the Suns suck in the post season. He is stupid, selfish, self centered, and wont play defense.

Latest on Amare:

Suns get: Rudy Gay & Shawn Marion
Heat get: Amare Stoudemire
Grizzlies get: Michael Beasley

Amare update: three-team talks Heating up?

The Heat, Grizzlies and Suns are reportedly discussing a three-team trade that would send Amare Stoudemire to Miami, Michael Beasley to Memphis and both Rudy Gay and Shawn Marion to Phoenix.
Other players would likely be involved to satisfy salary-cap rules. It's far from certain that such a deal would go through but it has definite potential. The Blazers and Bulls are also actively involved in the Stoudemire sweepstakes, though it sounds like Phoenix favors this new proposal. Stay tuned. Feb. 13 - 10:35 am et

I dont know what you are smiling about. Rudy Gay & Shawn Marion for Amare would have been a blessing. Both play defense, unlike Amare.

I wish that trade would have happened.

It wasn't when I posted it. About one hour later, I read on rotoworld that the Heat traded Marion to the Raptors.

The Heat have reportedly agreed to trade Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks to the Raptors for Jermaine O'Neal and Jamario Moon. The deal is still pending league approval.
Hopefully the change of scenery will provide a much-needed jolt to Marion's disappointing season. The move means Andrea Bargnani will likely return to being the Raptors starting center, while Michael Beasley could move into the Heat's starting five. Toronto is also sending a conditional draft pick to the Heat and getting cash considerations in return. Feb. 13 - 1:11 pm et

I'm sorry if you thought I was being disrespectful of your post. I was just stating that the recent turn of events showed something different happened.
